I tried posting in the "ask a veteran" forum but (for some reason I'll never understand) we can't post there until we are veterans ourselves and of course by then we will have already found the answers. Nevertheless, maybe someone here can offer some pre-veteran newbie advice 'cause I am LOST. In light of the fact that vaping is a relatively new thing, E-cig vendor websites need to offer better explanations as far as the components and what is needed and the differences and to basically give a more thorough understanding of it all. I purchased an "ultimate kit" from liquidxpress.com for $60+ because I had no idea what to get and I figured that with the "ultimate kit" I'd be covered because the word "ultimate" implies just that. So I got it and I was immediately disappointed by the poor plumage factor (the amount of vapor). So I did some research and found that you need a 5 or 6 volt battery to produce good plumage and the one that liquidxpress sent me was something like 3.7. So yes, the use of the word "ultimate" by liquidxpress.com, in my opinion, is misleading. Also, I guess I was supposed to assume that the e-juice has nicotine in it because they don't mention that either. I didn't know until I took the first draw and tasted it. I was recently in the hospital for heart failure and even though I smoked at least a pack a day before I went in I didn't feel any nicotine withdrawal and I kept refusing the patches they kept offering me. So for me the addiction is not the nicotine, it's the act of smoking and I suppose I enjoyed the flavor of a good tobacco. I need an ecig that is nicotineless and allows me to blow out billowing clouds of flavored vapor. I've tried both but I STILL don't know why a carto is different from an attie but I'm not made of money so I need to pick either carto or attie and stay with it. Please can anybody recommend a good battery and carto or attie setup with these factors in mind? 1. no nicotine 2. big clouds 3. not wealthy
