Hello and welcome to the forum miss.l0ve. Glad to have you here!:)

You're all signed up and you just made your 1st thread/post. What are you using to vape with?

Thanks! I've just upgraded my device and purchased the Eleaf iStick 30w & aspire atlantis tank. For the most part it is what I was looking for and the tank seems to work flawlessly (I have used 3 different kanger tanks previously) butttt... after vaping for about a year now I am very uneducated still when it comes to all the different devices out there, especially the rebuildable ones. So, that brought me here :)

I really only signed up because I wanted to comment on a thread I was reading but now it seems I have to jump through some hoops to do so...

The hoops aren't so bad.... Three more posts and you've cleared the hurdle. You may want to look at the Eleaf Lemo RTA. I have the Atlantis as well, and the Lemo blows it away in terms of flavor.

Oh nice! Good to know. I wasnt sure if these comments counted as posts. Lemo RTA, huh? Similar to the istick? How does it affect the flavor?

The Lemo is a rebuildable tank atomizer that you would use on your iStick 30. Build your own coils and wick them, rather than use the premade coils like you do for the Atlantis.

yeah but its not so hard and keeps the spam bots at bay

Quickest way to get through it is to go see if you can help other people in the new members section or just say hi :)

What were you using before the istick 30?

has any specific requildable caught your eye yet?

Thank you for the advice ! :)

Before the istick 30w I had gone through about 6 or 7 vision spinners, ego, etc. All the cheapy simple ones with AV. I had a lot of issues with my tanks and the threads of the battery.

I have looked at the buildable mods a few times at different shops but it seems much more complicated to me than the device setups Ive been using. Plus, I have yet to find one that is female friendly (smaller, lightweight) I have a hard time holding the ones Ive seen. They all look so massive and bulky.

The iStick is a battery.
'The Lemo RTA is a juice delivery devise.

Here's some terminology:

RBA: ReBuildable Atomizer (drippers or tanks)
RDA: Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (no tank)
RTA: Rebuildable Tank Atomizer
RTDA: Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer
BF RDA: Bottom Feeding Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer

Information Resources for Your First RBA
* An essential read and reference guide for someone new to rebuilding coils. Includes a multitude of useful links on battery safety, mod safety, coil meters, coil building, and the differences in the three types of RBA's.

Ok, I see. So its simply the tank part. Build my own coils and wick them!? haha. Sounds simple enough to say but really... what would building my own coils entail?

There, you've got your 5 posts under your belt and you should be able to comment on the other thread that interested you! Many rebuildable tanks are no larger than the Atlantis you are using now. You can use a rebuildable tank on the iStick battery you already have, so it shouldn't be any bulkier than you are used to.

Ahh I see -- I started with a spinner too -- now I have a hard time using anything that doesn't have atleast two batteries in it to keep me from having to carry around spare batteries all day ;)

The Freak Show Mini is tiny and I've been enjoying it -- its a rebuild-able dripper -- only down side is the smaller they are the more often you have to redrip juice in them...

Congrats on your new "Full Member" status -- see ya in the other threads.

Welcome miss.l0ve :)

Looks like you've made enough posts (might have to wait until 25 past the hour before the servers update - not sure if that's still true in "new" ECF) Once that hits, you should be able to wander in other areas of the forum....

I grabbed an iStick 30 a couple of months ago, and I  it! It's great for on-the-go. Have an iStick 50 and love that it is about 3 days between charges :)

Thank you for the insight! I'll check out that read too.

wrap a wire around a post and screw it in to the atty and shove some wick through it -- its super simple once you get the hang of it.

You can use a rebuildable on your iStick 30 watt. You don't have to upgrade your battery to get into rebuildables.
