I am new to vaping. I've done some research, both here and elsewhere. I am planning on mixing my own juice. I came across a blog in which the author was experimenting with extracting nic from regular roll your own tobacco using an apple as a conduit for absorbtion. This seemed quite tedious to me.

My question for the far more experienced, if one were to simply soak and then slightly simmer the tobacco could the remaining liquid (after carefull triple filtering) be added to a 50/50 PG-VG mix and vaped as is? I am still at a stage where I want/need a tobacco flavor. Thanks in advance

There is a sticky thread about extracting nicotine in the DIY section
DIY e-liquid

But you can't post there yet. Get 5 non-spam posts or replies in New Members and an hour later you should be able to post elsewhere.

And for wanttoquit - after you have a certain number of posts you are no longer allowed to create threads in New Members

I think I remember someone that did it using snus. Really though, I don't know of anyone on here that extracts their own nic and I really think what you are suggesting is a little scarey.

Check out MistressNomad's DIY video. it's the third one down. Then check out the DIY forum.

You're going to make yourself sick!!!
