Newbie on VET

hi all! i just got my VET today. been getting some burnt taste and scratchy feeling when i vape. i did the blow out on the atty and now the burnt taste is diminishing. however still abit scratchy. vaping on 80/20 pg/vg 6mg watermelon 3-3.2V. can someone explain the burnt taste and the scratchy feeling?

another thing, is this set capable of going on 100%VG? juices from HC.

If scratchy, u might wan to go for 70/30 or 60/40. maybe u r like me. slightly sensitive to pg. for me 60/40 or 50/50 = best depending on flavors. i can't take 70/30 either.

Burnt taste is due to the coil dry burning. meaning the wick is not wetting the coil enuff.

The VET is Variable Ego T. Which means your battery is capable of 3 different setting. It's got nothing to do with can/cannot use 100% VG juice.

100% VG juice tend to clog up atty/carto, so just take note... And if you insist on 100% VG juice, make sure the flavoring essence is doubled.

Be careful of ur VET though the button's pretty fragile. My button broke after I dropped it, end up manage to cannibalise the connector into a box mod

thanks karl for feedback I agree VET is more fragile as there is a electronic chip inside for variable voltage, so you have to be careful not to put in your pants and bend it or drop it!

Ren: when you start vaping, you might not get used to it , its dry and and takes a while to get used to it, as you are using tank type, make sure you dont fill the tank to the brim , leave a little air space, that way the juice flows easier to the atty.

Hi RenesisLim, perhaps your atty is dry - this can be fixed by dripping a few drops into your atty before popping the tank.
The burnt taste can be attributed to perhaps not enough juice/a dry atty or the fact that your juice cannot be vaped at the maximum voltage of the VV.. try lowering the voltage and see if the taste becomes less burnt.

All e-cigs sets are able to vape 100VG juices. Just gta make sure you clean the atty on a reg basis if you can going to vape that

LoL~ my uncle's VET set broke today too. His is the whole button cap came out severing the two wires inside that connects to the connector.

Wow. Must have drop from a serious height? Mine dropped twice from waist level and nothing has happened? Did I mentioned my job involves in me kneeling down alot (as I always put it in my side pocket)? And as a result of that, I sometimes pressured against where the battery and cartos meet( mind you, I'm using clearos)!!! Touch wood. But nothing happened.

The plastice piece in the center is not glued together. They are just press fit and they come a part pretty easily by yanking. Dropping a device with PRC Li-ion batt are a serious hazard. There are reports of venting and poisoning on the flashlights forum. Link can be found in the batteries mod section of ECF.

In my case I accidentally shorted my EGO batt(w/o the ego tubing) when I was cannibalising the connector. Then acetone smelling liquid start coming out of the battery I sniffed it and thankfully I didn't have to go to A&E.

Especially handle Li-ion batts with TLC. They are a known hazard which cost the airline industry a lot of $$$$$. The same goes for batts in your laptop or electronic devices. If u're not using batts that are supplied by thr maker of the device I would suggest not doing so as all incidents involving Li-ion batts are those that are not supplied by the maker of the device.

Well I may be a little paranoid after reading all those incidents but to me it's better than sitting on a time bomb and worrying when ur PV might blow up in your face.

Man... Site Supervisor... Should have guessed. They break just about anything... Splitted pens, flattened cigarette boxes, broken lighters, flattened near-sighted glasses etc etc... It's all in a day's work... LOL.

i got a bottle of 30ml 100% plain VG in my collection. O.O now i dunno wad to do with it.><

Easy... Get 100% PG 30ml and mix.. Ta-da!! 50/50 mix already lor. Important thing is, your 100% VG got Nic? If yes, just get 100% no Nic lor...

60ml 5.5mg nic 50%pg/50%vg
if u add flavoring that way, it will become e.g. 61ml 5.3mg?nic 50%pg/50%vg. +/-.
so i believe is, u add essence to some pg first say 10ml 100%pg 0mg.
end result maybe ard 12-13ml 100%pg 0mg.
then add to 17ml 14mg 100%pg =
30ml flavored 11mg 100%pg
(MUST use calculator for exact nic to ml ratio i'm just giving rough estimate)
then add to ur 30ml 100%vg unflavored 11mg =

How bout adding 100% PG with 11mg nic? Sorry ah... Me is not good when it comes to mixing and matching...
