Hey, it's a 70 foot Semi. Park it where ever the heck you want. :D

Welcome to the forums, congrats on making the switch, and kudos for helping your sister make the switch too. I myself fell victim to the hobby bug. I've spent more then I care to say, but I am prepared for the zombie apocalypse. And because new mods just don't come out fast enough, I've started building my own.

The one thing you may want to do is get yourself something like an iTaste MVP. It has a built in battery and lasts a very long time. You can charge and vape at the same time and also use it to charge your phone. I bought one exclusively to take on long road trips and I'm glad I did.

Ok there it is again. What is an MVP.
Obviously not Most Valuable Player.

I'm an overboard spender! In a couple months I bought everything that I wanted to buy, after doing research. On one hand, I'm blessed to have been able to do it, but on the other, I kinda need to be stopped! (LOL) Enjoy it! It's fun learning and buying and, most of all, buying! Spend on!

yup! spending a lot on mods and vape gear is customary within the native people of ecigtopia. nah all jokes asside though, youl probobly spend a lot of money the first year or so, but as time goes on you might only spend around $300 per year on supplies.. its overall cheaper than smoking cigs.. also it saves you the expensive chemotherapy treatments youl need from smoking analogs in the future!

Thanks for the link. The problem won't be finding a vape store, the problem will be finding a place to park a 70 foot long Semi truck.

It's too bad there's not an app where you can just put in an address and find the closest location where you could park. I even tried looking it up for you to see if something like that was out there. All I could find was one called Overnight Parking that says it has 7600 potential parking locations across the U.S. and has a related app that pulls up truck stops. Oh well! Good luck on your new vaping journey!

I'm overboard with you. One month and I've spent over $1000
I've been expecting each new purchase to slow me down on the spending but it actually gets me in deeper. Still wondering how deep the rabbit hole goes. I'm learning a lot though and having fun. I don't let the money thing bug me cuz it is actually a hobby now with the benefit of keeping me off analogs.

Hello, Please Help!!! (Sorry about going in to a random thread, I dont know how to mnessage people here, I just started looking today, even though I signed up earlier)
I am not new to Vaping, I have been vaping for a few years. I have tried to contact Cathomp31, you and him are friends..it seems he has gone dormant though.

I am having a problem similar to his (based on his post)
He posted the following below:

I'm going through the exact same thing right now...
I can smell things I just can not taste nothing even sweet food..
I was Vaping a Menthol & Cinn. Mix and I have learned that Cinn. Can do this to...
End of quote...

I am having the same issue, do you know what he did. I cant taste FOOD, Drinks, or Vape..IDK what to do and am kinda freaking out!

Please Help me

Don't get me started on spending. Just yesterday I dropped $600 and sadly don't remember all the stuff I bought.

That's awesome! And Nuts!! :D

I just ordered my starter kit (2 Vision Spinner 1300's, 2 Pro Tank2, coils, case) and some liquid for $140. I know I'm going to want a few more tanks for different flavors, maybe a smaller battery or two for travel/mobility (most of my smoking is at home) and of course more liquid. I'm obviously a noob, but just out of curiosity, what did you get? haha

I have been doing my research here and enjoying the ECF forums immensely, so much good info here. I started vaping 8 days ago and had my last analog 7 days ago. I may have gone a bit overboard tho. I bought a small Ego kit to try out that first night and it was okay but a bit harsh it seemed to me, not very enjoyable. If I had not already found ECF I might have just stopped there and continued smoking but I was learning about MODS and other such thngs readng the forums here. Day 2 had me at my local, or not so local B&M vape shop since I live in a smaller town. I purchased the Evic and all the necessary supplies, went home and charged it up. From that moment on I was a very happy camper. Maybe it is all in my mind but the vape was so much smoother so much more enjoyable.

I have since purchased a Itaste SVD as my backup, multiple batteries and tanks as advised here. More important for me as I am a truck driver and a vape shop would be impossible to get to for me. I also converted my sister the day after I bought my vape gear. I got her a SVD also and the necessary backups since she is on disability and could not afford her own start up gear.

The short is I spent way more than I intended in the first week just to get started but I am very happy because I no longer even want to smoke the old nasty bakky, the same oes for my sister. I don't feel alone tho because I have seen a trend in overboard spending from some of the posts here. I don't know if I should refer to you as members, fellow travelers or just enablers?

Yep this place is full of enablers so be careful!

Congratulations on switching. I knowthat if I were a truck dr iver I would constantly be smoking. I'm so happy that you have found vaping so you can still fill your time while driving!

Because you don't always have access to a local shop, you may want to have some juice with a higher nic level on hand, justin case. Y ou are near the 2 week mark when lots of new vapers often have a struggle with cravings. It's a good idea to have some around because you never know when they will hit.

And don't forget to grab the an extra charger.

Congratulations to you and your sister. Yay!

Sounds like a classic case of vaper's tongue. It's very committed and it is temporary. Drink lots and lots of water. Some use Biotene mouthwash. I just brushed my teeth and tongue about 3 times a day, used whatever mouthwash I had one hand, and drank a lot of water. Some folks eat spicy food or peppers to wake the taste buds.

There is a lot of info on the forum about it so you can do a search or start a new thread and someone will be happy to help you further.

Yeah, I am experiencing Vapors Tongue right now also and it sucks. I was very lucky and I found my ADV on the first day, then went back and bought 4 more 30ml bottles for the road. My mistake was not having something minty or mentholaty (is that a word? Haha.) for this inevitability. I have had no cravings for any analogs and I am grateful for that.

I have

1 Evic
1 SVD
1 Kanger Protank 2 with 2 packs of extra coils
2 Kanger T3's with 2 packs of extra coils
2 Evic Batteries, the pink ones that come with it
2 Efest ICR 2200 mah batteries
1 Efest LUC batt charger
1 Trustfire batt charger (Brought that as backup after I read never trust a charger with Fire in the name) Gave Sis the Tenergy charger

Duplicate that for what I bought my sister minus the Evic. Her Backup is a Ego-T dual voltage model. Plus there is a convienance store half a mile down the street from her that sells vaping supplies if she needs coils or batteries, backups etc.

Thanks to all here for your enabling....errrr I mean support. My wife is very happy that I started vaping. I am not sure how long she will let me hang with you enablers tho. :vapor:
