A few questions for an eGo newbie if you dont mind--

1) How can i clean out the tanks? Ive seen people saying you can "pop off the end" but i cant do this- it seems glued on or ultra tight. I want to rinse them out when there is just a little left and i want to change flavors.

2) Do i need to clean the atomizer? Some say it doesnt really help increase longevity.

3) Ive been looking at clearomisers. Aside from some increased capacity in liquid storage, is there a difference in amount of vapor. flavor, etc?

Thanks in advance!

1. There's no need to clean out the tanks. If you have a 'menthol' going - use only that tank for menthol - nothing you can do will change it. There are replaceable silicon caps for those tanks. Take the edge of a flat head screwdriver and knock it off where there's a bit of a lip on both sides. But get the caps first ;-) You could then throw them in a vodka bath but even that won't clean out menthol entirely.

2. I put the whole coil unit in 151 proof vodka for about an hour. If you leave it in any longer (like a day) it can affect the wicking. Some pop the top (spike plate) off and torch the coil but it's too much work.... I've had coils last for months and now you can get them for around $4/piece. It does help longevity to clean, imo and experience.

3. I get more vapor with Tabac BCC from good prophets - the 1.8 ohm coil for strong flavors, 2.2 ohm for lighter flavors. The bottom coil helps prevent dry hits and the flavor and vapor is better than the eGo-c, imho. However, the new eGo-cc clearo from Joyetech (cignot), uses the eGo-c coil units and is just as good on flavor and vapor as the Tabac BCC, but the capacity is less - Tabac - 3ml, eGo-cc - 1.6ml. Both are leak free and are my best replacements for the eGo-t and eGo-c systems.
