Hi,

There are a few sites that are selling the try it and throw it away versions. Not sure how much or good as I went right for a low end kit ($55). From what I remember seeing, my low end kit was only about $20 more than a pack of 5 throw aways.

I was a 25+ year, pack a day smoker and "quit" to vape in less than 2 days. For me, it was close enough to smoking that I didn't miss my original brand (marb lights) and my nose and throat felt so much better I couldn't stand going back.

Biggest "issue" for me was learning to deal with them differently. Can't just grab the pack and lighter and fly out the door. Now, need charged batteries, atomizer and smoke juice to make sure I have all I need. All fits in a cig pack size carry case so nothing major....just a change.

nuwaysmokes.com has a nu-bie kit for $36
vaporguys.com has a mini kit for $55 (dse 901 and my starter kit)
widowsbeadwork.com has a 510 kit for $50 (no shipping cost and 510 is hot product now)

In order to use an electronic cigarette you need to have a battery, an atomizer, some flavored juice, and a way to deliver that juice to the atomizer. These things are not disposable, for the most part, and are meant to last for awhile, so you can't really just try one unless you find someone who has one already.

When you buy a kit you get everything you need to get started.
Some kits are more expensive than others, and some are cheaper.
Some kits come with more things you'll want or need and some with less.

And every model of electronic cigarette has it's pluses and minuses.

Hello All,

I'm sure you'll wonder "where in the heck has this woman been???"--but I've just heard of these e-cigs. I haven't tried them...yet.

So here's my first question: Is there a brand that I can purchase just one to "try"? I'd rather not purchase an entire kit until I determine if I even like it or not.

501 starter kit for $25

Less than some of the disposables and if you like it just buy more parts. You can buy 510 batteries, atomizers, carts from any 510 supplier, they're all compatible with the above ecig.

I agree. Great deal to try out one of the most popular models.

I just found out about Innovape from another post a several days back and ordered the kit with the case. I already have a Janty Dura C but the pelican case looks useful - see Elindel's thread - and I can always use batts, attys, carts, chargers ;-) and I think that they also have starter deals on other models. A thread worth checking out from time to time:

Reading through their threads, it looks like 'Sleephater' is very on top of things with the service and communication. My kit and case should be coming tomorrow. I was curious about their ECOpure juice - the names aren't too helpful but I didn't dig. I got what comes with the kit.
