Hi everyone! I have used the V4L system and auto batteries for about a month - always just bought the prefilled cartomizers.

Now have bought a few liquids & blank cartomizers and hear about dripping to test a flavor/liquid before filling a blank carto on a flavor.

I do not yet have a manual battery from V4L- after reading here it is on my wish list....but can I use a drip tip with the V4L auto system and how do I go about "trying" this liquids without filling a carto

cookiebun thankfully let me know the drip tip replaces the white cap in a cartomizer (haha- I am THAT new to all of this)- but what happens next??

Thanks in advance:)

I would not recommend attempting dripping with the setup you have. I'm sure someone will correct me if this is wrong, but you need an actual atomizer for dripping, which is a whole different beast. Right now, in order to vape, you WILL have to fill a carto. I've never had a problem with this since I just clean any cartos with flavors I dislike, but right now you are not set up for any kind of dripping.

The drip tip you got is more or less something that people just happen to prefer to use instead of vaping directly off the carto.

Screw the atomizer onto the battery. Drip 1 or 2 drops into the atomizer. I like to let is sit for a few seconds so the juice flows down into the atty better. Put on the drip tip and vape away. Some will say you can use more than 2 drops, and they're right. I would start with no more than 2. Different style dropper bottles yield different size drops. Before you do any of this, you should read up on new atomizers and how to get rid of the priming liquid the most attys have on them to keep them moist during storage between the manufacturing process and sale of the item.

Both auto and manual KR8 batteries have a hole in the end. But only the autos are dependent on a drag sensor right inside that hole. So the autos are a lot easier to damage if liquid drips on the end of the battery. That is why it is only recommended to drip with manual batteries. You would need a DSE901 atomizer and drip tip to drip. I actually think refilling cartomizers is more dangerous on auto batteries than dripping on a DSE901 atty. Some attys leak dripped liquid pretty easily but the DSE901 attys I own have a fairly enclosed coil compartment and were less likely to leak than refilled cartos (and I am pretty careful when I refill cartos and clean up well afterwards)

Some other models like 510 have totally sealed manual batteries and those are the safest against juice leaks.

You can get manual batteries for your kr808 for much less than what V4L charges:
KR808D-1 Manual Battery
Litecigusa's service is just as good as V4L.
I got 901 attys so I could drip with my 808 from Value Vapor:
DSE-901 Atomizers 510, atomizer, e-cig, electronic cigarette [DSE-901 Atomizer] - $4.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid
I've been dripping since I got home from work.

I have a manual V4L will these attys that you mention above fit on my manual V4L?
