newbie question- is my battery ready?

Hi all,
I ordered my first e-cig and got it this morning. I have a 510 Blackhawk. the instructions say to charge it for 8 hours. I've had it charging for about 4 hours. The green light on the charger is solid, and the led on the e-cig flashes.

Is it ready for use?

Do the number of blinks mean anything?

You can but if its a Janty leave it a little longer as it seems to perform better that way

Thanks for the quick reply! I dont think its a Janty. Gonna try it out on my "smoke" break and hopefully this will work as a replacement for analogs!

You should have received instruction with it where it tells you what the blinks mean.
I've had three models and each charger lied. In time you'll learn how much time it takes.

I don't have any answers, but was it flashing as soon as you put it in, or did it start flashing at some point later on?

I just got a 510 batt that's been behaving weirdly (not the same brand as yours), and I'm just trying to sort out what's going on. My first Joye 510 batts didn't flash or anything, just sat there as the charger light went from red to green, and worked fine. My latest one flashes after I take a long puff, but still works afterward, and sometimes flashes in the charger but if I push the button a couple seconds stops flashing and eventually charges without any more flashing.

I'm guessing that your batt is fine, but it wouldn't hurt to follow the instructions just to be safe (and to be sure that if it's hinky, it's not anything you did).

I've only been vaping for about two weeks but I've already seen that the charger LED's are wacky at best. I have one that's red for 5 seconds, then switches to green, and back and forth endlessly. Another model I bought seems to be a little more consistent sticking with one color when I plug it in, but sometimes that color is green when I know the thing is dead as a doornail. so far I haven't seen any problems with them actually charging, just the stinkin' light having a mind of its' own.
