Newbie Question on cartomizers

Hi all
I am using a G6 from Halo and it seems to be working out for me, 34 days and not a one analog.My question is that I got a couple of packs of cartomizers and they have real bad metal taste to them, is there any way to get rid of this? Thanks

I don't use cartos anymore but I'll try to help.

Are these blank cartos that you fill yourself? If so, you may try to clean them before you fill them. I've never had to do it myself but I've seen it mentioned somewhere around here. If you search the forum for something along the lines of "cleaning cartos," you'll surely be able to find a few methods.

Alternatively, have you tried using a drip tip with them? Maybe the metallic taste is a result of direct contact with the carto. A drip tip can be used as mouthpiece to put a little distance between you and the metal.

Thanks tarfreeme I will try cleaning them. I use blank ones and also use a drip tip.

Hi Talonius, welcome to the forum and congrats on your quit! I think there may be some confusion here......Are you using a cartomizer (one piece) with wadding and a coil in the middle? Or an atomizer and cartridge (a 2 piece unit)

If it's the first, you must completely fill the cartomizer...22-28 drops of liquid....
If it's an atomizer, blow it out and add 4-5 drops of juice
