...Are we in danger of becoming hooked on
vaping as a nicotine intake device, only to find that the authorities are attempting to criminalize e-cigarettes?
I know lots of folks "out there" seem to behave as though nicotine consumption through
vaping is just as dangerous as analog smoking. Would like some facts and moral support so that this is a decision I feel okay with, given that ultimately I'm not necessarily doomed to becoming an obsessive vaper (though I had a few experiences of hugely "nic-ing out").
Ok, first, congrats on coming back to ecigs, instead of analogs for your rebound into nicotine. And second, there are many reasons why vaping is more healthy/less harmful than smoking analogs... to wit:
This is a Korean study on the number of chemicals in analogs vs those in ecigs based on strict chemical analysis of each.
No idea what brands of either they used but the evidence is clear without even knowing the effect of the chemicals on the human body: 4 chemicals is less than *approx* 4,000 chemicals...

As far as criminalizing vaping, people are scared of what they don't understand (ie: electricity at one point would've been seen as witchcraft), so there will always be those who chose to stay ignorant and demeaning because they would rather stick their collective heads in the sand than educate themselves. Meaning it is up to us, the ecig community to be willing to educate in a consistant manner about ecigarettes vs analogs.

As far as negatives from quitting smoking and moving to vaping there have only been 2, and they would actually be things experienced more intensely by those who never smoked at all.
First, my sense of smell is stronger which means that all smells are more potent. And second, I now have to use a respirator (like an intelligent human) when spraying my trailer with deisel (used to help prevent freezing coal during transport) while at work.
As a quick note, even the smokers are starting to move to a respirator, apparently lungs torched and nearly scarred by inhaling vaporized hydrocarbons affects both sides lol.
If you can't vape it, toss it
