I found some Wilton's glycerin at Walmart if you're interested.

My Wal-Mart doesn't carry Wilton's. They have something that looks more like this...

...and it's right next to the Band-Aids. If it says USP (and it will) you're good to go. I have to go to Hobby Lobby for Wilton's, which does not look like this...

...but I'm sure we're single-handedly driving their sales through the roof!

I buy 18mg bottles and cut it with 1/3 VG to bring it down to 12mg.

Micheal's Craft Stores sell Wilton VG in their cake decorating department. Interestingly enough, it does not say USP anywhere on it. But the directions clearly state it is for cake icing, so it has to be food grade.....??

USP means pharmaceutical grade and is of the highest quality. I don't think the Wilton says anything like that. But I've never heard any complaints. Most "food" items wouldn't be pharmaceutical grade anyway. Just good eats.
