Hello All! I am relatively new to vaping. I was a 3/4 pack a day smoker for over 10 years before picking up my first e-cig. I picked up the njoy NPro as it was the only one that I had ever heard of and haven't looked back since. That was 2 weeks ago and since then I have been researching everywhere i can about e-cigs.
I am about to purchase my 2nd device and had a few questions that I wanted as many opinions and perspectives on as I can get. I have decided to go with either a 510/Titan/Yeti or a Classic Pentype/DSE801/RN4072 either way with a manual switch battery. Here are my questions relating to both and thanks in advance for whomever replies:

1) Which provides bigger vapor on average?

2) Which has longer battery life on average?

3) Which holds more fluid in the cart?

4) Does the 510 with a manual switch ave the same battery activation issues that the auto switch version does? (ie. activating the atomizer due to vibrations from loud noises, wind, walking around, etc.)

5) Any specific manufacturers you trust and recommend?

So there they are. Thank you again to whoever replies.

Your question fits me as I use an 801 (and a JS), my son the 510.

1) I've never done a side by side comparison between the two. Frankly, I don't care either because both devices emit more vapor than any analog. I tend to take long drags and deep inhales. More times than not I can't exhale all of it in one shot on either device.

2) the 801. But, I never used an 801 manual battery so that might be misleading. The 801's battery physical size is bigger tho.

3) 801 in a landslide. No e-cig holds more than the 801.

4) the manual switch eliminates unwanted battery activation. that's its purpose.

5) there are so many good suppliers. I hate to recommend just one.

In short...

I think the 510 standing alone is a better device than the 801, all things considered, however. I don't know if it's the skinnier atty chamber or if the atty itself is just better (burns hotter) but the throat hit from the 510 is better and more consistent than a standard 801 (or 4072), IMHO. It all depends on exactly what you're looking for.

My main device is a JS. The battery life blows away the non-mods. Couple that with the large reservoir and I rarely have to play around with my e-cig while I'm at work. Just vape and go. That's important to me. Your mileage may vary, as they say. Good luck.

No experience with the JS, put off by seeming reliability issues (and the fact they're now 'fixing it' in V2). I say seeming because I don't own one, and I believe Elendil is still (AFAIK)without issues on his, others..not so.

The M201 is better than the DSE801 I have, for both vapor and throat hit. The 510 is very close, but gets a bit more vapor and throat hit with it's manual battery. Battery life is better on the M201 or 801, so it's a toss-up. I use the 510 for throat hit *now* via USB passthrough, and sometimes with PCC when out, but use the M201 for 'running around the house/yard,' and am vaping on it right now.

The M201 and 801 look identical, and the carts are mostly interchangeable, and hold 1ml of fluid, the 510 cart holds .5 ml of fluid.

I and others have both 510 reviews and M201 reviews in the Reviews/Video reviews sections..

    1) Which provides bigger vapor on average?

At standard 3.7 volts, 801. No contest.

    2) Which has longer battery life on average?

I can't think of an 801 style solution that does not provide bigger battery life.

    3) Which holds more fluid in the cart?

    Definitely 801.

    4) Does the 510 with a manual switch ave the same battery activation issues that the auto switch version does? (ie. activating the atomizer due to vibrations from loud noises, wind, walking around, etc.)

I HATE automatic batteries, except for one model that you haven't mentioned, and probably aren't considering.

    5) Any specific manufacturers you trust and recommend?

    bestecig, Janty.

Important point I want to make though: You NEED a good backup. tying yourself into one vendor/model is a very bad idea. The 801 and 510 offerings from most companys are solid, and wonderful to a new e-smoker and you'd be hard pressed to not find something from either camp that satisfies you. The "safe bet" is anyone's 510 offering. There just simply isn't anyone complaining about them. They are really that good, and I can't think of a better way to start out. I'm heavily biased towards the Janty Stick BECAUSE they make the 801 as good or better than the 510 offerings already are. Hope this helps.
