Hi!
Thanks for having me here. I a total newbie, started vaping 3 days ago when I received my Ego-CC and I'm loving it. Haven't thought about rolling a tobacco cig since and don't see myself ever doing so again (after 16yrs of smoking!) I've gone through 3-4ml of liquid in 3 days at 15mg/ml

So here are my questions:

-I realize I can change the atomizer head on this model, how do I know when to do so? How long can I expect it to last?

-How long can I expect the Ego-Cc as a whole to last if it's the only thing I use?

-I been getting a crackling/gargling sound, is that normal?

-How do I know when my battery is soon going to die? Is it ok to recharge halfway through it's run or should I let it empty completely?

I'm sure there will be more but that's it for now :D

Hi their it should tell you how many charges it will last. I'm not very familiar with the ego cc so I'm not certain if the piping noise is a usual for it or if liquid has gotten where it shouldnt. With my atomizers if I get a gurgling or popping it's usually because liquid has gotten where it shouldn't be and IL remove it and blow it out into a paper towel then it's good to go again. How many mah is your battery? Mah will also help tell how long it will last through the day. My 1300 mah does not quite last me all day but my 1600 mah will. But I'm a heavy vaper. So that just depends on you. How much you vape and what voltage you vape at if your device is veriable voltage. Like I said I'm not familiar with it .I wish I could be of more help but I hope this helped some.

Hi dms Welcome to the forum.
They look like nice atomizer heads you get with the ego-cc.

To answer you questions: the heads(coils) should last about 2 weeks maybe 4 weeks depending on how much you use it ect. its a big window but if you notice a drop in vapour production try replacing it.

the battery should be good for at least 300 charges, individual charges depend on mAh of battery the smallest a 650 will last about 4-6 hours, the largest a 1300 will last twice that of a 650.

the crackling noise is a good sign that its working well, its just the coil heating up the juice and it crackles.

A distinctive gurgling on the other hand can indicate that juice has got into the middle tube and its gurgling like blowing air through a straw in a drink. This is know as flooding and can happen occasionally in tanks that have a bottom coil arrangement. Just unscrew it and clean where the coil fits into the tube.

You will start quickly learn to realise when your battery is about to die as there will be a noticeable dropoff in performance when it get low on charge. You don't need to run them down completely you can charge them whenever you like they don't have memory that will effect its charging.
looks like one of the better ego style kits you got there. happy vaping :)

The light on the battery would blink when it is time to charge;

Yes it is better to recharge the battery half way through; no it is not good for the battery to run down completely. It is a Lithium battery.

Cool thanks for the answers. The battery I have is 1000mah and and fine after 3days, I heard this kind of battery can do 8hours of continuous vaping? I can't imagine I've done more then 1.5 - 2 hours altogether in the past 3 days so I should be fine for a while still. I would like to let in run out once just to see how many days max I can go before a recharge....

There is a little gurgling as well as the healthy crackling so I'll try give it a clean. So the Atomizer head is the only part which needs regular changing right? And if I'm only doing 1-2ml a day will it really only last 2-4 weeks?

You can stop the gurgling by leaving your ecig upside down on a paper towel for 10 minutes or so - the excess liquid will run out and be absorbed by the towel - then give the mouthpiece a quick wipe. I use 1-2 ml as well and I find the heads last about a month - always make sure you've got at least one spare to hand.

Yes you can expect up to 4 weeks considering how much you vape. Just unscrew the old atty and screw in a new 1. You should be able to get them in packs of 5.
