Hi. I'm a newbie to both vaping and to this forum. Even though I'm a vaping newbie, I'm already wanting to get a bottom-feed juicer. In particular, I'm looking at Kaji's Journeyman and Ali'i mods and at RedEyeDancer's Mini Reo. Wow! It takes a lot of patience to get your hands one one of these babies! So here are my questions.

1. Is there anyone out there who has tried both a mod by Kaji and a Mini Reo who could offer their opinions as to which one they like better (and why).

2. Are there any other decent bottom-feed juice box alternatives out there.

3. Does anyone have experience ordering from the ReoMods site? I've been checking the "Stock Update Pricing" section since yesterday afternoon, refreshing the page at least once every waking hour. The status in that section states: "I will have more mini Reos in stock on 10/12/10 at five pm eastern time." Well ... here it is ... 10/13/10 ... no mini Reos in stock ... no status update. Am I misunderstanding something or is the stock status actually out-of-date.

I have both a REO Mini and an Ali'i. So let me address your questions, not necessarily in the order in which you asked them.

As for ordering on his site, he did in fact have some addition REO Mini's available for sale yesterday, at 5 PM Eastern, just as he said. In fact, he ordered the site up for ordering just a few minutes ahead of 5 PM EST. The problem is, that they sell out within a matter of minutes. I believe he only makes a couple or three dozen Mini's and has them all assembled, ready for sale, before he opens the site up for ordering. In that way, those that order one will have their unit shipped to them relatively quickly.

The REO Mini is an excellent bottom feeder juice mod. There are already reviews on here for it so I won't go into a lot of detail. I'll just say the thing is built like a tank. Solid! I really like machined metal components, so I can really appreciate this mod. No problems with it functionally. Good, solid, consistent vaping. I am a heavy vapor and I am not able to go all day without having to refill the 3mL bottle in it at least one time during the day, and also need to change the battery 2 or more times a day. They will have a larger aluminum bottom feeder mod coming aboard in the near future, with larger battery capacity as well as 6 mL bottle.

The Ali'i is also a very excellent and beautiful bottom feeder juice mod. It does have a 6 mL bottle and uses an 18650 battery. I can go all day on one full bottle of juice and one battery, which is very nice. It fits inside my closed hand perfectly. When sitting within my closed hand wrapped around it like a glove, the switch is directly under my pointing finger, and the juice bottle is directly underneath my ring or third fingers, which makes for very easy refreshing of juice into the atomizer.

Thanks Sponge Bob! That was an excellent comparison! I'm thinking I should get both: the Reo Mini for ruggedness, and the Ali'i for when I want to vape longer without refills and batt swaps. From looking at the pictures, they both look like superb products. The Reo Mini is like a sexy little sports car, and the Ali'i is like an exquisitely crafted, well-polished Stradivarius violin. LOL! I am subscribed to both the Reo Mini thread and the Kaji thread. I hope to see you around. Thanks again for the excellent feedback.

Glad it was helpful. I was going to suggest also, as you have informed me you've already done, to subscribe to the threads for each product. But by the time I finished typing my reply to you, I had completely forgotten to include that. LOL. So much for depending on my memory. But that's really the best way to keep advised as to whenever the online store is about to open up for orders, as well as other helpful information. Good luck to you in getting one of these. I know for certain you will find your vaping experience enter in a totally new level.

C.J. - I'm a big fan of all the "bottom feed" mods, and no matter which you decide to purchase first, just know that it won't be your last. I went through 2 of the "battery holder" mods before I settled on the "bottom feeders." I bought a Screwdriver MKII & a Sparkplug SP2 - they both were well built, and performed as advertised, so I have no complaints there, and they did get me through a full day of vaping on a single battery, which was nice, but I still had to deal with carrying bottles of juice and filling carts every 5 to 10 puffs, and cleaning up the mess I almost always made with paper towels. The "bottom feed" mods ended all of these hassles. There are a few new Phidias mods available from Fono, the builder, (check the Phidias Supplier thread), if you are getting a little impatient. I have 2 of them (vaping one right now) and the are wonderful. If you don't mind waiting a few days (and don't mind watching the thread and the web site), Robert should have some more REO Mini mods available shortly. I have 2 of these and they do remind me of a well tuned sports car - small, beautiful, & fast. Both of these have a 3ml dispenser bottle that does get me through about 8 to 10 hours of vaping. The battery in the Phidias is about twice the size of the one in the REO Mini, so it will last for about 2 days of vaping.
