newbie: questions

Hallo everybody, my name is Silvia, I quit smoking last week thanks to an e-cigarette.
I am totally new to vaping, but I see there is a lot to read and learn... I don't know where to start from!

I arrived to this forum because I had some questions:

1) I am currently using an e-cigarette called "soffio libero" (I bought it in Italy). I would like to buy a new e-cigarette, and I'd like to know which brands are the best. Can you help me? Maybe there is a thread you can suggest me?

2) Where can I buy ecigarettes and juices here in Switzerland? (as I said, I bought mine in Italy)
On line shops are also an option.

3) Sometimes the taste of the puff is quite disgusting, quite like when you light a cigarette on the wrong side. Does it happen to any of you? Is there a reason? (i.e.: juice is not enough, vapor is not warm enough...).

4) Sometimes it tastes like the juice comes to my mouth. Is there something wrong with my e-cigarette, or is it something normal? My husband says it is only moist... I don't know what it is, but I can taste the juice in my mouth and I don't like it at all.
Is it dangerous? (I guess so...).

Sorry if a asked a lot of questions, I have been browsing the forum for a while, but it is really big and I get lost...
Thank you very much, ciao
Silvia

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your decision to live a healthier lifestyle! Yes, there is a lot to read about vaping especially when you're new, but unfortunately you do have to do your homework as there is not one perfect setup that fits everyone's vaping needs/styles.

PBusardo just posted a youtube for newbies that gives a general explanation of the different kinds of vape gear there is: A PBusardo Video - Beginners Guide to E-Cigs and E-Cig Tech - YouTube

I'm sure other members will pipe in and advice you on what they feel is a good setup. You have to take the first step, and then keep reading and researching. This forum is a wealth of information from guides to new vapers, to health and medical answers to many of your questions.

Good luck on your journey!

Welcome to ECF.

You shouldn't get juice-in-mouth! It should not taste crummy/nasty either. Both of these things indicate a malfunction of some sort.

I don't know enough about that particular e-cig to comment as to what you could do to correct the problem. In general though:
1) juice-in-mouth = flooded atomizer/carto OR dead battery/dead coil not atomizing the liquid.
2) Burnt taste = opposite. Not enough juice, or coil gunked up with something or too hot.
