I just went to their website to see what an xhale ecig was. It looks exactly like the first one I bought which was called the Health-e-Cigarette. I hope this thing works better for you but I ended up getting a DSE 901 kit two days after getting that one. I think it's an M 401 clone. Mine was a pretty low quality one. The first thing you should know is that those cartridges last about 1/5 as long as they claim. I was a pack a day smoker and I went through 5 of those cartridges in one day. If you find this unit to be inadequate for you I would suggest going to madvapes.com and looking at the kits they carry. Their prices are as good as anyones and they only carry decent PVs. Here's a link. Welcome to MadVapes LLC

Hello all, I just bought an xhale 02, my first e-cig. I had a couple of questions. I was wondering, is it safe to keep it fully assembled all the time? How much will I get out of a single prefilled cartridge? How often do I need to clean out the atomizer? Also, any other basic maintenance things I should know about?

Thank you very much :)

I keep my e-cigs assembled all the time; I used to take them apart at night and drain the atomiser, until I realised it made no difference at all.

Don't clean your atomiser unless you really need to, it's one of the most common ways for new vapers to trash a fine atty. I can go months between an atty clean, and that's using one atomiser all the time.

Carts generally don't last long, so you're best off buying liquid and refilling your own; take a look at the cart mod section if you're running dry all the time.

My advice: Keep your batteries charged, connectors clean, and a spare atomiser and battery with you at all times.

Just out of curiosity I have been looking at KR808's and it appears to me that they are similar to the Ego. The Ego uses 510 carts and atomizers with a 650mah battery and can also use the Mega carts and atomizers which are longer and have more capacity than the standard 510. Both can use the cone (tornado style) for aesthetics to hide the battery/atomizer connection.

The benefit here seems to be longer battery life and more juice if you use the Mega carts, or am I missing something here? Is there a difference or a benefit between the Ego or the KR808 or is it just the same under a different name?

Hey Steve. I also have the xhale02. Been using it for two+ weeks now and I freaking love it. I always have mine fully assembled unless its charging and have had zero problems, thus far. I used to clean my atomizer by dry burning it every night, because I thought its what you're supposed to do, but this forum has convinced me to just do nothing with my atty. As for the carts, I have found, for me, they are equivalent to about 3 to 5 analogs. I did do the manual refill myself once, but it took so much time and was a pain... now I just drip my juice right onto the atty.... soooo much easier and a better vape. Now I only refill carts for convenience, such as when Im driving.

basically, as far as maintenance, do nothing. Should anything break, replace it with any 401 piece as they are compatible and 70% cheaper than the Xhale pieces.

When it comes to carts... just DONT do it. I say drip/dip your atty with a few drops of juice (about 1 analogs worth) and skip the prefilled carts, they're a waste of money. Buy a good juice and refill your own if carts are what you want.
