Newbie saying hi and hoping for some help

Hi all,

My name is Mal and I am from Bedford in the UK. Have been trying to give up analogs for ages now so when I came across an e cigarette while buying PC parts I ordered that too, you might say it was an impulse purchase.

I know absolutely nothing about these items, I am writing this as my e. cig is being charged.

What I would like to know is EVERYTHING

How do you use one properly, where is the best place to purchase some good quality e. liquid, how do you use it etc etc.

Am really sorry for these questions but I have to start somewhere.

What model e-cig did you get ?? There is a Model Specific sub-forum that will be another place for very useful information.

Hey mal hows it goin? I'm new to the forum and e-cigs as well. I can't even figure out how to put up my quit meter lol. Anyways, I have already purchased an RN4062 E-cigar for good vapor production and very smooth taste...

...a dse901 USB Passthrough for when at home. I'll admit the higher voltage gives a great amount of vapor, but the you must keep the atty wet in order for it to taste right. It's very convenient and you don't have to worry about the battery, not to mention the vapor production...ohh wait did i already mention that lol

my last purchase was a dse905. I could't resist it because i really wanted a mod and didn't own one yet. I would say all three of these items produce good vapor if used properly. You'll get the hang of it. Liquids are everywhere. I'm not sure what the best liquids are yet, but i know liberty seems pretty good for me.

ok mal, here is how i did it...go to youtube.com and check out the reviews...if you smoke analogs, then vapor production will most likely be VERY important to you (it definitely is me) my recommendation would be the RN4062 (which is readily available in UK) for good battery life, good vapor, and very smooth good flavor. another thing...i started with 24mg strength liquid and it has a very very harsh throat hit...so i had to buy some low-nicotine juice and mix them 50/50 to lower the strenght (also...cherry e-liquid mixed with 555 is great!)

the battery (has power) it heats up the atomizer (the metal coil which vaporizes the liquid) and the liquid is stored in the cartridge or cart (that has polyester stuffing and holds the liquid) the cart containing liquid lets the liquid wick (or lets it run) into the atomizer bringing your lungs the ohhh so delightful vapor and nicotine...personally i think the e cigs that look like real cigs don't produce much vapor. you should buy a pen-style or a mod or an RN4062...whatever you do, don't by the RN4071 e-cigar i heard they suck and the reviews show no vapor at all, but the 4062 is great

yeah Mmalik it's a Health e Cigarette and the promotional vid is a bit OTT - battery life 3 days, lol, and each cart = 15 ciggies, hmmm, prolly more like three. You won't be able to smoke it everywhere either!

But, it got you here! And so read the newcomers' forum, especially the first 3 stickies and get the knowledge!
Then you won't be put off vaping if your first PV lets you down a bit. It is miles better than smoking!

I shall bear all this in mind, at the moment though I have an e. cig charging and until I actaully know what I am doing all I want to do is know how to use one and get a good e liquid that tastes like tobacco. I suppose most people that are trying to quit analogs want the same tasting liquid?
