Just thought I should pop my head in and say hi. I was a pack and a half/day smoker for far too many years. Started at 12, quit several years back then picked it back up a little over 3 years ago. In that time, I've had a beautiful baby girl and married my soulmate. I've tried several times to quit since I picked them back up and nothing at all has worked. I'm a digital artist, which means long hours at the pc so chain smoking was a problem. I'm also a black/death/goth metal vocalist and it's hell on my voice. Plus, I'm a bellydancer and being seen smoking is a HUGE no-no. Finally, on Monday when I got my Joye eGo, I was able to lay them down. I haven't had a single craving, the only thing I miss is the act of actually lighting up, go figure LOL.

Thanks for all the knowledge that's been shared here. I've learned a LOT already and have graduated to dripping as of this morning. I'm sure I'll have a thousand questions in the near future ;)

Grats! Be sure to try cartomizers too! I recommend you try Boge in both standard resistance and LR low resistance (hotter). You need to put in an ml of juice to start (18-24 drops) then clean it up, blow through the threaded end if necessary to clear the air channel, sop up any loose juice above the stuffing. Then on a fresh fill of a blank let it lay on different sides to spread the juice through every bit of the stuffing. I find 15-20 minutes is enough with thinner juices like 70pg/30vg. You can every bit of stuffing to be damp so you don't singe the stuffing. Then recap (or use a plastic drip tip as a mouthpiece). May vape a bit boggy at first like a flooded atty but they are great. You can get a lot more drags before you need to mess with juice again. Just keep them damp and I can get 1 week or more use out of a Boge.

Thanks for the welcomes! Also, for the recommendation on cartomizers. I've been trying to make sense of all this new lingo and that helped me get it a bit clearer in my head. I've had several people ask me to tell them how it goes, using PV to lay down the analogs. I've never managed to go more than 4 hours before, that I'm on day 4 is a huge step up from that. I'm the only smoker in the house and now we don't have to smell like ashtrays. I'm sure harder days will come over the next couple of weeks but I'm prepared to do whatever it takes. The habit HAS to go!

Thanks everyone. It's great that there is such a huge network of support here. I have tons of support from my bellydance brothers (yes, they DO exist LOL) and sisters, as well as my family, but most of them have never had to struggle with this addiction. So having people that have been exactly where I am helps a lot.

I ordered a 10 bottle sampler from The Vapor Room and have found one flavor I absolutely can not vape, Creme de Menthe. I was a Pall Mall reds smoker and detest menthol. Yet CdM made me crave an analog. I did vape my way through it though. I have one other mint to try and if it does the same, then those will go into a box to sell or trade at a later date.

I intend to order several more samplers from various vendors, since so many are having Easter sales this weekend. I ordered mixes of 75/25 in 12mg. Thus far they seem to be the right strength. I'm wondering if I should stick to that or try to go down a few mg's. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on that front!

One other question, I did partake of cloves on occasion. Pink Spot has a clove/tobacco mix. Has anyone tried it? I know it's not going to be like a Djarum Black but I'm wondering if it's similar at all.

Thanks again!
