Hi all!
This is my very 1st post (& I'm using IPhone so excuse typos! :) ... Ordered my Smokeless Image Volt kit the end of March & have been "analog" free since it arrived. About three weeks in I developed a blister like rash on my ankle & my stomach -- also after vaping the SI e juice (which I love BTW) I develop chapped lips on some days. After reading alot here, I realize I need to switch to 100% VG to see if this helps! I thought my allergy symptoms would go away, but they linger on :-(. I looked and looked and read until my eyes are falling out about all the different 100% VG vendors ... But I don't know which 100% VG e juice works best in my SI cartos. I'd like the juice to not be dark in color & somewhat thin so it works well in the SI carts. Being new to this all the info is overwhelming!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :) thanks all!

Just a little more info ... I am still using the SI e juice (Ry4 being my fav, 555 & Cowboy) as I was hoping symptoms would improve with time -- and it did, but has not gone away -- hence 100% VG search. I've read about Blue Mist VG (Caramel Tobacco, Rootbeer Float, Smooth) ... Also V4L's WOW VG (do their pre-filled VG carts work well with SI Volt batteries??) and do their VG e juices work with SI carts?? If their prefilled carts work with my Volt, that seems like the easiest route to take to try VG! Any other help or suggestions would be great!!! Thanks all! :)

Welcome to the forum. My suggestion would be that since VG s usually a thicker juice to thin it out with a couple of drops of distilled water and make sure it has a good chance to soak in then you could still use SI cartos . And yes V4 Life would work with Smokeless Image batteries.

Welcome and sorry to hear about your reactions, hopefully you will be able to get that squared away in due time! Alien visions, sweet vapes, copper creek, blue mist and rawr vapor all have 100% VG options and there are probably more! As for the thickness, a couple drops of distilled water will help with that. You can also try flavorless 100% VG if you are concerned with colors. Good luck in your search and wish you the best!

Thanks guys! I've read tho that thinning with distilled water will also affect the flavor. I was hoping for 100% VG that is carto friendly right out of the bottle (also light in color which I have read is best if only using cartos). I think I will just have to order from a few different places & see how it goes. Also wondering if anyone has experienced this type of allergic reaction and had it eventually disappear with time? Mine has improved & I no longer am itchy at all ... Just wondering if I should continue with the SI juice and see what happens. Hmmmmmm ....

If you are adding a small amount, it shouldn't effect the flavor too much. I use that method from time to time if I want to use 100% VG in a tank or stardust and it has fared well with me so far. Otherwise, I have used 100% VG in cartos and have not run into any problems with it. Might shorten the life of the carto a bit, but for as inexpensive as they are, oh wells! As far as the allergic reaction goes, I have not had one like that. I have noticed if using higher PG I get a heavy, almost achy lung feeling. Don't know if that is my lungs still trying to get rid of gunk or what.

Thanks again! I may try a 50/50 e juice also. I've read about the PG allergic reactions and others have complained of a rash, so I guess I'm not unusual. :) It only itched & bothered me for about five days ... It's just not gone. I don't have any other side effects other than chapped lips (no lungs aching or throat irritations at all -- weird!) & the chapped lips come & go. I'll try thinning with distilled water once I decide on which 100% VG to order! There are way too many options! LOL!! Just thought I'd see if any SI carto users had experience with some that worked better than others. :)
