Hello everyone..in my anticipation waiting for my first kit from SI so excited about getting my VOLT!. I have been shopping for eliquid..visiting lots of suppliers. I ordered some WTA e juice from aroma e juice and of course some from SI. But want toget some from Copper Creek as well. They have different ratio's of PG/VG, I understand from what I have read it's up to the individuals preference...and being completely new at this I have no clue....I am thinking to start with their standard mix 60/40 but I'm not sure. From what i understand the PG is for TH and the VG is for vapor??? I don't know what SI's(smokeless image for the total noobs) e liquid is. Can anyone give more info, I eventually want to try DIY e-liquid.

I just bought some House Blend from Copper Creek, but I made the mistake of getting it 80/20. It is too thick.

I think their standard should be okay 60/40.

I think it depends on what type of setup you have.

If you are going to refill carts, you may want it thinner, but if you are getting it for refillable clear carts, or cartomizers, thicker maybe better. It won't go through needles easily though.

I'm kind of new with vaping too, but maybe this will help you. I wish I would have got 60/40 or 50/50

I tend to use 80% PG/ 20% VG or 70% PG/ 30% VG

Your preference may be different than mine, but its a good place to start.

I can tell you that more VG will produce a heavier vapor, and is sweeter than PG to me. VG is thicker than PG.

You will also find that thinner juice is easier to fill with if it becomes a consideration.

I tend to mostly use cartomizers these days ... and filling them with either of the above ratios isn't a problem.

I hope this helps a bit.

60/40 is thicker than 80/20. It's written as PG/VG ratio, so if you have that switched it would make sense. When using cartos it's best to stick with 30% or less VG (70/30) as it won't wick well if you go higher.

Ive been using egoT and 510T, thick juice seems to clog these atomizers up and have not been getting very good life out of them. Got some cartomizers on the way (tanks and atomizers in one peice), gonna try these out and see if I can get more value out of them then the tanks/atomizers.

Would thinning high VG mixtures help improve the atomizer life? (thinning by heating in warm water bath)

First post ! :)

My first kit was also a Volt from SI. SI juice is 100% PG.

I've heard of people using 100% VG with SI cartomizers but its a bit more work and time consuming than juice with PG.

60pg/40vg would be thicker? Thanks I didn't realize that! So, 50pg/50vg is even thicker, right?

This gets confusing.

So, really, a good mix would be 70pg/30vg right?
