I've been a smoker for over 20 years - 1/2 to 3/4 pack of Marlboro Light a day. I've been researching as much as I can about e-cig and ECF has been quite informative. I've decided to start out with the V4L Vapor King Starter Kits (VK-Ultimate Ultimatum Kit). However, it seems there are more choices of color for the manual battery than the auto; auto - Copper, Metallic Red, Green, Purple, Gold; Manual= Chrome, Metallic Red, Red, Blue, Gun Metal Platinum, etc.... Are those the only colors for Auto or is it because they're out of stock on the other colors? I am looking for a black auto. I also want to test out both the auto and manual. Does anyone know if they allow you to get one of each on the order, instead of either 2 autos or 2 manuals in the kit? For the juice, what nicotine strength should I buy for a 1/2-3/4 pack a day smoker? Much appreciate for any information. Thank you.

im pretty sure they have one of those live stock update sites so if its not listed they are probably out of stock, black is pretty popular for e-cigs. best thing would be to contact them and ask. i ordered one of their kits a couple months ago and i believe they had the option for 1 auto and 1 manual in the same kit but they could have changed the kits since then. also best to contact them.

I am having a great experience with V4L, I have both manual and auto batteries and a passthrough. Sometimes the manual and the passthrough seem too hot and then I switch to the mellower auto. I think that flavor is better at lower temps, but not sure if that is why. I am very happy with all of it. Its nice to have so many choices.

Hi kangols - I am also a newbie and just received my first order from V4L today. I've got the auto battery because that was the only only option in the starter kit I purchased. I think I'd prefer the manual and will be ordering that soon. The auto requires a "primer" draw that apparently isn't necessary on a manual.

I also smoked Marlboro Lights (1 pack + a day). I ordered 18's for my first V4L Carts thinking I would need a strong Cart to quit the analogs. My advice is to order a weaker Cart if you are used to Lights - the 18's are quite strong.

I have both the regular automatic ones and then ordered the XL Manual ones, because of the longer battery life I really like the Manual XL ones better, I have 6 now all Purple ( I like purple). I like the cool carts and i use 24mg but I smoked 47+ years Winston lite 100's at about 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day. It works for me but I would start at 18mg and go from there. I, however, am not a fan of their juice. I like the American made better from Tasty Vapor and Nicotine Narvana. You may like their juice just fine, it is a matter of taste

Thank you for all the informative replies. Through my reading in ECF, it seems there's a split between the auto and the manual. That's why I want to get one of each at first to test them out. Once I have my preference, I will order more battery and possible the XL model. Regarding the juice, I definitely want to buy those that are made in the good old USA. I know not all USA products are 100% safe. But considering what with all the lead/melamine/etc. in China products for past few years, I am very weary of what I am going to inhale with Chinese products. Granted, it probably still is much less toxic than smoking analog.
