Hello, everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I have read hundreds of posts here, in the last few months - to my great enlightenment. When I decided to try e-cigs, I thought it might be wise to read what others have to say. Never one to tiptoe into anything, I plunged into vaping with enthusiasm.

My first cigarette was sampled by me, 45 years ago. Since then, I have been smoking off an on - usually on. When I was expecting my children - all eight of them - occasionally, I would stop smoking. I have smoked four packs a day for years, tapering off to about a pack a day. I love to smoke.

No one else in my huge, extended family - smokes - just me. I started off with a Blu, tried the Infinity, and several other "convenience store" types, went to the mini-cig type, and rapidly to the Ego-C. (Hope I have the names right, here.) I love vaping, and still do smoke a few regular cigarettes a day, but rushing towards cessation.

I did not tell anyone in my family about it - I just let them see me vaping. They were, and are, delighted. No one was thundering condemnation about it, as we love each other, but they were visibly glad to see my e-cigs!

You have all helped me, a lot. Just reading what others have had to say, steered me in the right direction. Loving vaping, and just a tad concerned that gov't will decide it is no longer allowed. Hope that is not the case!

That's it, and thank you, again!

Hi Examiner and welcome to the ECF:) Wow... You raised 8 kids? You are probably very wise by now and have a lot to contribute to this forum. I was like you and just loved smoking so much i didn't want to quit. I started vaping by accident when I bought a cheap kit to use when visiting friends in the hospital and liked it better than smoking. Then I found ECF and the benefits of vaping vrs smoking and dove in head first. This forum can become as addicting as vaping LOL. Good luck and don't be afraid to ask any questions if you have them.

Hi Examiner. Love the name and am sure it came from raising 8 kids!!!

Welcome to your wonderful journey of vaping. I am a relative neebie myself - 3 months away from smoking and I enjoy it so much more. I started like you, with Blu (until I got a kit from suppliers here) and have never looked back. I was an accidental quitter however, as it was just intended to be something I did when I did not want to smoke (like in the car or house), but I just found it to take me anywhere I wanted to go.

I have lurked here for the initial process and learned so much.

Me, too. The "lurking" saved me a lot of money. Thank you for the welcome!

Apologies, if this is considered a "double post". Was in a rush...

Thank you, one and all! With 2 full-time businesses to run, I don't get much time to do things like this, but appreciative of all of the welcomes, and will be in from time to time. I do love vaping, and although still smoking analogs a little bit, am liking them less and less.
