Hello, and welcome to ECF sounds like there will be many areas of the forum to explore. Congrats on quitting smoking, I too was at death's door when I stopped and cannot believe how great I feel these days, though I'm pretty sure my lung function won't be returning to where it was in my teen years, but I can live with that. :)

Welcome to ECF and I hope you enjoy your stay and jump right in!

Welcome and glad you joined.
Starting with ego's is all good. Breaks my heart when folks skip the basics and wonder why they are having problems. You should do well.

Hello @yrrab. Welcome to ECF, glad to have you here on the forum with us.

On mech-mods I found parallel coils to be key to getting me a good vape with quick ramp-up.

My favorite build on my mech-squonkers is parallel 26ga KA1/ 5 wraps/ 2.5mm ID / ~0.29, quick ramp-up and a nice cloud.

thank you

re-done the build popped it into a goon ya got to love a goon .shut one side down with a ceramic stopper. flavour flavour all day long .the clouds are there but who care's about them ? not me anyway if there's no flavour it's back to the drawing board lol

Hi and welcome. The HB6s are about as safe a cell as you can put in a mech mod, for sure. The battery life isn't going to be great, but those are good cells. Unless you are building very low-- a practice I do not recommend-- you probably don't actually need that much battery. I am a mekkie myself-- I have 9 1-battery tubes or mech squonkers on my desk as I type-- and I use the LG HD2C or Sony VTC5A batteries. They aren't rated as well as the HB6s, but they have a lot more mAh capacity and so last longer. Since I almost never build below .5Ω I am still well within the rating of the cells. Good luck and stay careful :)
