Hello everyone,I am a new member and am just getting started with the eleaf istick.I have been using a little cheap cigarette looking thing.The wife made me a deal that if i would buy her a good e-cigg she would quit smoking.So i went to the e-cigg store and got her an eleaf 30w istickwith a melo tank.I tried it and got me one but i'm having a hard time finding the right juice.I smoked kool but everything i buy has too much menthol in it.If anyone has any suggestions on what i might try please let me know.I look forward to being a contributing member of this forum.Thanks

It sounds like you might be picking vapes with menthol in them. Try a streight fruit flavour say ....cherry for example.
A lot of people like to vape custard flavour.
Also its good to remember you can mix different flavours together so if you buy say a cherry menthol with to much menthol you can dilute it with just cherry.
Personally I like to mix blueberry and apple.
I think a lot of people recommend a site called mount baker for juices.

Washed it out a couple times.I even poured the first tank out and had the juice weakened and it is still way too much menthol.I guess i might have to get something without menthol to start with and add a little bit along till i get it right.I think i might need a bigger tank,i have a melo tank now,whatever that is.I'm kinda learning all this stuff as i go.Thanks for any advice and help so i can get this right.Thanks Again
Perhaps you could add a little bit of glycerine to cut the menthol.
I always find menthol a very strong flavour what I used to do is buy a bottle of just menthol in my nic level then add a few drops into the tank of whatever flavor I wanted (often vanilla). Vendors always seemed to add way too much menthol in there juices for my palette.

it can get a bit puzzling at first but we're always at hand here on the forum to help out if you ever get stuck (me included).

Sometimes I think back to when I used to vape not knowing how them little egos even worked. Now I wrap claptons and diy juice like its second nature.
Still everyone in the forum started off knowing very little or nothing about their devices.
@opticruby I'd have to agree. I bought my first 2 eGo ONEs a little over a month ago with no clear plan to quit a decades old cigarette habit. It's been 2 weeks since I've smoked a cig and to my surprise it's been fairly effortless. Never thought that would happen!
I still don't understand how my little eGo ONEs work but in time...

What others have said is good advice - get just straight menthol and add just a little to each tank. It can sometimes brighten fruits or make a "regular" tobacco flavor into a
"mild menthol"

I only started vaping as a cheaper healthier alternative to smoking and ended up kicking a 25year smoking habbit anyway without even noticing. The cigerattes just phased out without me even realising it.
A lot of thing I picked up I learnt from when things went wrong, the usual thing like no vapour, flooded tanks, coils not firing properly.
I learnt about coils and wire to save money on factory kanger coils (the really old ones that could be rebuilt)
Batterys and ohms law was when I moved onto mech mods.
Products I learn because of my shinyitis (the need to buy shiney things)
You'll pick it up as you go along but as long as your here on the forum we're here to help if you get stuck, we've learnt it all so you dont have to
