First can I start by saying hello

I have just joined the forum and still finding my way around.
I have not smoked a normal cigg for the past six weeks after using a cigarette look alike e-cigg, which my daughter bought me after having a heart attack.
I would now like to upgrade to a refillable e-cigg, but after looking on the net & realising just how many different kinds are available, I am now confused about which one to buy.
I don't want to spend lots of money on something which is going to leak or not last very long.
I used to smoke about 30 full flavoured ciggs a day, I would like something that will last about 10hrs a day, and is easy to carry around once I go back to work.
I would also appreciate advice on where to buy good e-liquid.
Any help would be much appreciated, Thank you.
Circling down, from above, is an odd, Realm traveling avian. He lights down just as a plain wooden perch rises from the smooth floor of this thread and mounts it easily. A platinum "YB" medallion necklace begins to glow a royal blue and you hear a deep, smooth, male, Latin, voice translating his speech:
"Hail, and greetings English Rose! Welcome to ECF! My very first recommendation to you is to get 5 posts so you can move more freely about this forum. You said, "I don't want to spend lots of money on something which is going to leak or not last very long." No one does. Since it is unclear if cost is of significance I would recommend a 510 type starter kit. Ego, Riva, and several others make very good ones that aren't too expensive. Regarding a "supply" system there are many. I suggest reading up on cartomizers and clearomizers before you make your choice of a starter kit. If money is of median concern you may want to jump over a plain 510 type starter kit to a Vamo or E-Vic -both are variable voltage/variable wattage PVs. (person vaporizers.) If money is no object then you should opt for a Z-max, ProVari, or box mod.
We all, "...would like something that will last about 10hrs a day, and is easy to carry around once I go back to work" but 10 hours of battery life is pretty optimistic. The trick is to by at least 2 batteries, hopefully 900 MAH or higher, and keep one vaping, so the other can be recharging and you will overcome this obstacle easily.
Since you are so new, and I'm sure several of the models, i.e. "510 starter kit", Vamo, or ProVari" are unknown to you I urge you to get those 5 posts and decipher my suggestions. I started at ECF, just over one year ago, and was lost too. If you take the time and trouble to examine the threads, of others, regarding, starter kits, supply systems, batteries, etc. You should be off to an excellent start. Re: "I used to smoke about 30 full flavoured ciggs a day..." then the Nicotive level of the e-liquid (In milligrams) will be impotant to you. I suggest getting some 18mg and 24mg to try to hone in on what level will be right for you.
There are no "right" or "wrong" answers, PV's (Personal Vaporizers), supply sytems, or battery type; each vaper must tailor these things to their own needs. Re: E-liquid (other than Nic strength) There are many, many, many vendors and most of them are good. Taste is subjective, however, though most seem to start with fruit flavors. I DIY (Do it Yourself) almost all of my e-liquids. I do, however, order from Alice in Vapeland (usually hard to place an order), Mt. Baker Vapor, and occasionally from Halo (Tribecca-tobacco flavor).
Finally, consider the look of the PV you want. Does it have to resemble an analog (cigarette)? Will you give up the look of an analog for longer battery life? I could go on much longer but have alread gone on too long!
My wish isn't to confuse you but to make you aware of the myriad choices you have and make my own, subjective, suggestions to you as a noob. BTW; today is my Vaperversary and I celebrate 1 year of being tobacco free. I can think of no better way of doing so than by trying to help a newcomer. Welcome to ECF! Explore! Study! Learn! I wish you all the success in the world, and as a heart attack survivor myself, I empathize totally. Welcome! Way to go by ditching those analogs and accept my wishes for success and my apologies for being so long."
YardByrd lifts his right talon and places it on the bevelled edge of his perch and the perch recedes into the smooth floor of this thread. He flaps his wings and sailing high above begins to dwindle from sight and you hear one final sound....."CAW!"
