I'm not a connoisseur of vaping, but I have a relatively sound understanding of the mechanics, terms, and community. I've quit smoking tobacco 3x in the past, with durations ranging from eight to 13 months. I am planning to revert back to vaping after my smokes run out on the 1st of January.

I've had several devices, but no RDAs. My current setup is an eLeaf iStick 50W w/ Aspire Atlantis tank & custom drip tip. I'm considering the possibility of getting into RDAs and building coils; as I like working with my hands. However, I am currently well-invested in flying drones, which is quite an expensive hobby on it's own. Being that I don't make a ton of money, I'll have to balance my drones with the expense of RDAs.

I am a US citizen living in Bavaria, Germany.

Hello, and Happy New Years!

How big is vaping in Germany? I'm pretty jealous of you, though. I'd give anything to be over seas again!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Vaping in Germany is seemingly an epidemic. I've been here for two years and see more vapers than smokers. I've been thoroughly enjoying Germany, and wish the States were more similar. Yes, there is dumb scheisse here that seems counter-intuitive, however, in my experience things just run more smoothly here; especially traffic. It's rare to see a traffic jam, or "bumper-to-bumper" traffic. The honor system here is astounding. Markets close, but leave their products out in case someone wants to buy after closing. You'll find a deposit box to pay for whatever you take; amazing.

I miss the States, in some ways, but want to stay in Germany for other aspects. You can't win them all, but somewhere in the middle between the US and Germany is a sweet spot that I can only hope to ever find.

Happy holidays, welcome and glad you joined.

Consider:
Magma RDA designed for flavor and moderate clouds. See Fasttech, approx. $8--Deep well dripper. 30 min to 1 hr. before needing to fill.
Economy build for juice consumption: (6.8-7.8 w.)32ga Kanthal, .078"/2mm id coil. --5 coils.

Thanks for the information. I do a lot of research before I purchase anything, so I will definitely check out your suggestions. No discredit to you, or what you proposed (as I haven't done any research into them, yet), but I am never one to go cheap just for the sake of saving money. I usually buy mid-priced items when entering into any endeavor, unless the cheaper product has rave reviews. I'm a pretty technical guy, so I'm not worried about jumping head first into anything and figuring it out as I go along. Being a quick study, this method has proved most beneficial in terms of finances and frustration.

That being said, do you have mid-range suggestions?

That's awesome! I always get excited hearing about other countries vaping scene.
I was in Germany for a about a day, I didn't get to travel around much-sadly. I'm sure a lot of countries run more smoothly than the US lol. That's awesome, though! I wish the States had an honor system like that. It would make things a lot easier, fix a lot of problems. I believe you'll find your happy median. I'm from Spain, so I can understand the whole "can't win it all". I'm glad you're enjoying your time there, though!
Happy Vaping!

Awesome, man (female, yes?)! I know Spain is going through a lot of craziness at the moment, so I can certainly understand, but not sympathize with, your approach. I am a bit too intoxicated to dive into your profile, so tell me (us) about the vaping scene in Spain. I'm sure we could all benefit from a better understanding of the world around us.

Yeah, Spain is a roller coaster-definitely not planning on visiting or moving back anytime soon. The vaping scene has sky-rocketed to be honest. There have been a lot more rules put down in the past three years. For example, you're not allowed to vape in public spaces, this includes; parks, outdoor venues, most markets, etc. The advertising for electronic cigarettes are strictly regulated by the government-only broadcasted at specific hours of the day. They can only be sold in tobacco/smoke shops and pharmacies and only during certain hours of the day in most regions. So, in general vaping is legal, but restricted in many ways.
