I finally received everything needed to start vaping and here are my current results.

With a fully charged IR 18650 battery in the silver bullet mod using the Kick by Evolv (setting turned up to 8), I tried using:

1) The yetti/ego/510 atomizer
2) BL LR 510 atomizer
3) 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizer with 6 ml tank

I experimented with all 3 throughout the day a found that I highly prefer using atomizers over using cartomizers with tanks at this point. I haven't tried using a cartomizer by itself yet, but so far I'm not liking the vapor it produces. Tastes somewhat like burnt cotton which is what I think it is? Not much vapor production at all!!! Maybe the juice is too thick for the cartomizer and needs bigger holes? IDK? But I already spilled juice all over myself messing with the tank. lol. I guess that was bound to happen since the cartomizer slides off the tank so easily. At least on this tank it does. Also I'm glad the juice I spilled wasn't very good.

I haven't tried using the Who's your Daddy Anodized Aluminum Lil' Mama 3ml tank I purchased because I forgot to buy some cartomizers for it. So I just placed an order with them for some Pre-punched Smoktech reg size (35mm) cartomizers. I got a couple of the Single coil 1.7, 2.5, and 3.0 ohm and a few of the dual coil 1.5 ohm. Hopefully once I receive them my cartomizer and tank experience will be better. I plan to throw the other carto away and maybe try finding a better carto that would work better and also fit the tank. It must be a different size than the Lil Mama tank (35.mm) because it doesn't fit so I'll need to figure out what size to use if anyone knows?

So far, I really like using atomizers. I haven't stopped smoking cigarettes completely yet and plan to once I have my vaping skills down a bit more. lol. It's actually a good thing because I noticed as I switched from smoking cigarettes to vaping with the yetti/ego atomizer, I couldn't tell the difference because the vapor production is super nice. It felt as if I was still smoking a cigarette. Same warm smoke feeling but much more flavorful! The BL LR atomizer was ok but not as good as the yetti/ego. Now I want to buy more atomizers and get this vaping thing going. Maybe a custom .357 long barrel! Cartos and tanks just seem like too much of a hassle to me compared to just topping off an atomizer as needed. Some might think that itself is a hassle but it's actually pretty fun. It allows you to vape all sorts of flavors without having to stick to using one during a vape session. I use to smoke hookah/shisha among other tobaccos out of pipes :) and it's similar to loading different bowls to try a new flavor. Atomizers work great for me and I think it will be my vaping preference. I'm already starting to look into rebuildables!

Thanks for all the help everyone on here has given me so far!!!

i have found the exact opposite to be true. i started with a vivi nova, and found the draw a little too airy for my tastes, then i switched to a dct and it brought a whole new dimension to it.the key is that you have to fill the carto and let it sit to distribute properly before use. if you fill and immediately attempt, it's fully possible that you are just burning the cotton. another disadvantage of cartos is the inability to switch flavors without some lingering old juice taste. That being said, i recently recieved an rba and have found no better flavor, although the almost constant refueling is vaguely frustrating, although you can carry small bottles of a selection of flavors, which is great until you find your all day vape.
