Newbie user confused. Help info please.

Started with Skycig 28 days ago, not happy with, moved onto ego900 battery fitted with vision clearmiser, ok results, then tried tank system.
Plenty of vapour with both ego systems, but found flavour very week. Put flavoured `cart` onto ego battery, good vapour good flavour.
Don`t want to buy flavoured `carts` too expensive, buying `flavoured liquid to use with existing ego systems.
What do I need to get both Flavour & Vapour.
Any help suggestions will be very welcomed.

I haven't made the leap to tanks yet myself. I use the ego w/both vivi nova/mini vivi nova and kanger t2's. I get great vapor and flavor from both and think, (imo) i get better throat hit from the t2 clearomizers.

You can buy empty cartomizers and fill them up with whatever liquid you like. Many people like the low resistance cartos on ego batteries. I like the clearomizers and don't notice a flavor drop, but I have heard many people say the flavor is too muted with those. Good luck!

You could always refill your "flavored" carts. If you are looking for a Tank system, might want to try the Vivi. They take about a half-tank to really break in, but they are good in both flavor and vapor right from the start.

SmokTeck has some good carto tanks, but I prefer single coil carto's in this style tank.

If you are using the standard batteries (3.7 volt), you want to stick with 1.5-2.0 ohm carts/attys. If you use something like the eGo Twist VV or move up to a LavaTube or the like, then 2.5-3.0 ohm single coil carts in a DCT tank work really nicely, and the 2.8 ohm head on the Vivi is awesome.

Finding good empty carto's is difficult. The boge's used to be the standard, but then have had problems for a while. Don't know if they have them completely worked out or not. I also like the Kanger horizontal coil carto's. They taste a bit weird on first use, but after that, they are good.

The mini nova with the ego batteries is my current set up. Great flavour and vapour production and easily maintained.

These all have their pros and cons, and everyone who vapes likes one type over another, it's just a personal preference. I would get one of each to try them out to see which best fits your own style.

Hi All. Reading that `Boge` carts are lately below their normal high quality.
Have recently ordered 2 packs(10), am I likely to be disappointed with them ?
Which are alternative manufacturers. (still learning about equipment and consumables) any advice greatly appreciated.

Since the pre-flavored carts are giving you more flavor, perhaps it is the juice you are using. Some vendors offer extra flavoring, and you may just need that.

I've tried several systems...clearomizers, tanks, and various cartomizers included. I even just bought a 6ml. tank for my telescope mod...but after the first cartomizer burned in it...and subsequent cartos I've tried in it have all tasted burnt so far...I've gone back to the one thing that ALWAYS gives me great taste and great vapor...and lasts a long time (holds around 2.5-3ml.). That is the "EMSCC" or eGo Mega Single Coil cartomizer. I prefer the 2ohm....I dislike "hot" vape that makes my menthol juice taste harsh and burned. So 2ohm it is, and it's good every single time! (Unless I get a DOA carto...but that's only happened once in the past few months). I refill them using a needle bottle and it's easy peasy. Most sites carry the 1.7 EMSCCs (that have them at all), but while they are okay...certainly better than the dual coils...they are a little LR for my personal taste. YMMV. Anyway...they look like this (also in stainless) and the 2ohm type can be found at Liberty Flights in the Smoktech cartomizer section. I've tried over and over to give other systems a chance, but none measure up. I'm mostly interested in flavor/TH and vapor. Nothing else performs for me as well as these. They fit perfectly on an eGo connection with no cone needed...very good looking (no tiny carto stuck on a fat battery look...ugh).

I use primarily eGo equipment...also eGo T Mod and the Smok Telescope and Madvapes Gripper (latter two are 3.7 volt)

I've been using the Kanger T3 and the pair I have has served me well. It's easy to fill and maintain, while giving nice flavor and good vapor. There are low resistance heads available, which would probably work better on a standard eGo depending on your preferences.
