I was totally in your shoes... I was very hesitant... nervous... etc... if you get a reo hit up sterno about the doohickey... you can carry it with really not a problem at all... takes about 3 seconds to check your voltage... assuming you dont notice the change... and just always keep a spare batt on you and your good... i use the reo mini 2.0 and while the aw imr 18490 1100 mah lasts a good amount of time... well... i carry two spare 18490s... in a nice case... that is marked for charged and uncharged... (button one way charged, other needs charge)

2 spare batts, doohickey... bottle of liquid to refill... a little baggie of cotton with tweezers and tiny scissors... and i am good for the day if not more than a day...

xD only problem i have ever had with the reo... wasnt the reo... burnt the cotton because i had an ID 10 T error and wasnt paying attention...

I agree with all of the above. Putting a low battery indicator would also involve electronics so the Reo would no longer be a mechanical and washing it in the tub with a rubber ducky would be a no no.

I do NOT want to see that, lol! Anyway, yeah, my low battery notification is the clock: 6AM = fresh battery for the day. 3pm=time for swap out. I'll likely be doing a third swap in the evening, since I'm tearin' it up this weekend. Yeah, I vape a LOT.

i can tell when people are no longer annoyed at me that it's time to change the battery - it's usually at about 3.6v but the stares vary.

Try not to run it much below about 3.4v - you'll definitely notice then that the vape is hard to get, because it will, over time, prematurely shorten the life of your battery.

All of the above... Was terrified of running my batteries too low...

But you really do feel the difference in a lower batt....I've never hit below 3.7 lol

Yeah, I surprised that I was able to "tell" when it was time to change, right from the first day. The ever-so special (and arguable creepy and unhealthy) bonds we form with our Reos magically allow us this special knowledge, I think!

ok too much spiderman the past few days... my first throught reading this is the reo is like a symbiote and bonds with us... that we are essentially venom...

gah... marvel... kids... movies... gah... 1 week of leave spent with the fam... not really a vaca just a week out of the office... and my mind has slightly melted...

yes i did choose marvel cartoons, it was better than justin time, or some of those other shows... i figured it would work better if daddy watched something that daddy could follow with them...

so partially my fault... but... the other day i caught myself whistling sesame street... a few weeks back...

Hmm, Marvel. You have chosen wisely, my friend. For if it had been this Justin Time you speak of (or, worse, some flavor of DC Comics), this conversation would certainly take a turn for the worst.

I chose to believe that we do not choose our Reo--we wait for them to choose us. Only then, when we allow ourselves to be freely chosen, can we enter into the level of magic and power such as we have experienced. :?::laugh:

If I had gone with DC it would be some harrowing story of the Reo and Me avenging our wrongfully killed parents...

hmmm a reo with parents...

the only DC comic I can follow is The Batman... I understand that DC wants the heroes to be Heroes! But Marvel makes them all so real... so relatable... not sure that is a word but go with it I mean Thor... a freaking god has family issues galore... and suffers from being too proud... and has issues with pops not approving of his girlfriend... i mean even a god has issues that you can relate to...

really lets you get into the character...
