So for your nic you have enough to make 3333 ml at your current strength, so take the price and divide it by 3333 and you have your cost/ml.
Take your flavorings for a given recipe. cost/ml in container= cost/ml, multiply that by amount used in a recipe.
do the same for vg and pg that you use in a recipe.
and add them all together plus about .50 for a bottle if your going to sell it :)

my key lime pie costs about $.10/ml to make

Ya I was stuck at this part too, I figured me being me I will start with one brand and get all of the flavors that are used alot and then go to next brand. Literally I have 52 flavors from TPA on my table :) TPA and Loranns are the cheapest I have seen, Capella is expensive but its quite good from what I hear. I got most of my TPA from Kim at onestopdiyshop.com, 6ml for $1.50 and she is wicked fast at shipping. I bought the smallest bottles for all flavors except:
French Vanilla, Vanilla Custard, and bavarian cream. I would just pick a whole bunch of things you might want to try. Add some menthol crystals/flavor too. You will be surprised where you use it. Also, add some sweetener too, some companies label it as "cotton candy".

You can store nic in the freezer to keep it lasting longer, I have 500ml coming next week and its going right in there.

Hey there guys, so ive been reading about DIY for about 2 weeks now and am still LOST!

Trying to put together an order here, I'm doing this with a buddy so we are buying bulk as we figure our first attempts will probably be wastes.

I've already ordered a ton of VG and PG that was the easy part.

What do I need?

Here's what i think i need :)

Nic liquid (thinking either 60 or 100mg, not sure what base it should be, lost there)
Flavors
Bottles
Syringes, Pipettes, etc...
Menthol drops ( I want to make a tobacco menthol that I enjoy)

What else do we need? I have done a TON of reading as of late but still feel so lost.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Jim
In all due respect if you haven't figured it out. In all honesty you are not ready!

Not sure if I want capellas yet or TPA, probably go TPA though :)

There are some great TPA flavors for sure... but after buying a lot of them I have some great ones, some good ones, some that I may find a use for someday, and some that I can't stand. With Capella's they've pretty much all ended up being great from the start. But, then there's the fact that Cap. costs more and less places sell it.
