I have same plm with my emode. I have been messing around with air flow, heat setting, and pulling air. Air flow inlet only has three sets that are hardly noticeable difference but low flow seem to be working better on light colored juice. For darker ejuice seem to be like be at higher heat and air flow. No matter what I did, it always get flooded. I just use paper towel to keep it dry repeatedly. Its possibility due of cleaning and swapping samples of the flavors caused seals wore out.

This is good info since I just ordered one. I have an eVic and several eGo's, and several eGo-C Twists. I have wrangled with other batteries and always default back to joyetech products. However, I've never used any of their toppers. I always get my own since they are so versatile. I'm interested in the performance of the clearomizer that comes with it. I DIY all my juices because I got tired of subpar juice junking up my stuff and I like to customize my own flavors. All my stuff stays fresh to the last drop and I clean my set up frequently. I know you're new, but you might want to consider the DIY way if you don't like your juice. There is a great forum for it on here and it's not as hard as it seems. I'll be trying my own Andes Mint in it as soon as my eMode come in

Heck, at this point my eMode and my eVic are for sale in my mind. Finally bought a ProVari, and went to a carto-tank setup and am never looking back~!
As for juice, I've found some I really like, but wanted to try the Joyetech juice - LOL - ugh.

I had the same problem. Actually it started with the feeling that the tank was overflowing and then the liquid came out of the hole where you regulate the airflow.
After taking the e-mode a part I discovered that the rubber seal of the atomiser was missing. I guess it came off the last time I dismantled it. I changed the atomiser and since then no more gurgling.
Maybe this is the same problem for you?

Joyetech think they are "above" the rest of the e-cig world. They refuse to design (and enter) the clearomizer market determined that these atomizer systems are good.
Most people find they are very poor... and expensive... and then give up.
The people that sell the kit enjoy the repeat business of endless tank and atomizer buying. I call it a swizz.
I met a vaper of 14 months who never even knew what a clearomizer was. He'd bought over 75 Joyetech atomizers and the so-called "Tanks" to go with them. £300+ on atomizers in one year.
....Could have bought a Provari and Kayfun or the best carto tank you can buy.

It's junk in my book, and I've not touched it since going to carto/tanks(which I am thrilled with).
I ran into the same problem with my emode, I tried any and every voltage setting, draw method and air shutter setting and finally slapped a Kangertech aerotank on it. I went back to the tank that came with the kit for a different flavor and it seemed like using a different juice helped a little. Every once in a while however I get that familiar gurgle but find if I set it down for a little while it seems to settle down, still not the same as the aerotank but besides the issue with the gurgle once in a while it is acceptable for a secondary tank.
A few things you can do, I would start from the top and work my way down.
1. Flip it upside down and blow through it with a paper towel on the airflow hole, fire it in quick bursts when doing that. If it don't fix things, take it off and blow through the atomizer ensuring liquid does not come out of the connection only the air hole.
2. Clean it out and make sure everything is tightened properly, check the connection post and make sure it is not loose, check your mod post to make sure it has no juice on it.
3. Try adding a little juice and vape again, if it is still acting up you may have a bad atomizer head and it will need to be changed out.

It seems that you may have already figured out your problem but I am wondering can the mixture of PG vs VG have anything to do with the flooding issue? It seems I get flooded if I use an ejuice with a PG higher than 80%?
very simple. through this beautiful designed head into the bin and replace it with something which works. I'm using the Kango aero tank and enjoying the big save in the replacement coils, which are on top very easy to refurbish and reuse them several times. And btw last product which i bought from Joyetech.
