Howdy folks.

I just got my Inferno-T in the mail today. It looks great but I'm sort of adrift here--the manual that came with it is for the regular Inferno. I understand which part is the atty, which part is the battery, how they fit together, all that, but there are some things that I don't understand.

1) The atty came with a tank-mouthpiece on the end--when I take this off, it doesn't have the same translucent black plastic as the blank tanks that came with the kit. In fact, it isn't shaped like them at all--it's just a cylinder. Is this a "dummy" mouthpiece that is just for looks?

2) Before I took the mouthpiece off to check it out I tried vaping, and there was a lot of vapor production. If the mouthpiece didn't have fluid, what was I sucking on?

3) I understand the basic "tank filled with fluid, atty pierces tank" thing, but I don't understand how to get the fluid into the tank, and I'm a little leery of trying to force anything because it would be pretty easy for me to snap something important. Do I need a syringe?

Please help, and thanks for reading.

1) As far as I can tell, the mouthpiece that came on my eGo-T was a dummy placeholder.

2) You were probably vaping the primer fluid; there is a lot of primer on this atty in my experience.

3) You can pop the cap off the end for the first filling, although it is not the easiest to remove. It should snap back on with a snug fit. For subsequent fillings, just use a syringe through the hole pierced by the atty. I've even had success just holding the bottle dropper directly on the hole for refills.

My response in bold:

2) Before I took the mouthpiece off to check it out I tried vaping, and there was a lot of vapor production. If the mouthpiece didn't have fluid, what was I sucking on? You were sucking on primer - you want to blow that stuff out into a paper towel and drip some e-liquid in there to prime it. There might be a slight "vomit" taste until you use up your first tank - after that all should go more smoothly.

3) I understand the basic "tank filled with fluid, atty pierces tank" thing, but I don't understand how to get the fluid into the tank, and I'm a little leery of trying to force anything because it would be pretty easy for me to snap something important. Do I need a syringe? A blunt syringe would be the easiest way to do it, just stick in into the little hole and squeeze - In the meantime, I believe the .... end of the whistle-tip mouthpiece comes out so you can fill it from that end. The problem with that is that it will become loose over time so you don't want to do that unless you have to. Get a syringe.

Please help, and thanks for reading.

There's a video on how to use it... let me see if I can find it...

You can keep removing caps to re-fill, but it's better to use a syringe to re-fill. They are very cheap and you will thank yourself for getting one. As mentioned, after a while removing & replacing caps will make the carts wear out faster, and possibly leak on you.

Or, if you just buy a bunch of empty carts, refill normally and when they start wearing out, or getting loose around the caps, toss them and use new ones.
