Help a Newbie Out--Tank or no?

I just got the eGo-T starter kit from heavengifts, and I have to say that both my wife and I love it. This is our first experience with an e-cig, but I can say that the throat hit is excellent and definitely comparable to an analog.

Not having had any experience with other systems, I can't really talk...but the tank system works perfectly for me (and I'm as noob as a noob can be)...easy to refill, vapes well, battery holds a good charge, etc.

I just wonder how long the atty will last however....I'm in NZ and so these can get a little expensive ($US 5.00 each plus shipping from China or $AU 13.50 plus shipping from Australia). I'm definately going to order another couple, however, and do some research on how to clean the things.

I'm also new, a little over 3 weeks in and still going through the process of trying e-liquids out to see what I like. I am staying away from tanks until I get a handle on what I like to vape. I can't imagine filling a whole tank of e-liquid and not liking it.... Stick with cartridges or dripping for a while. Once you find your all day flavors, then get a tank. Personally, I think the commercial tanks will be upgraded soon, so I am looking for something more like the Map tank as my first choice.

I personally have to disagree with this. I find that the tank system has been immensely easier to deal with than cartridges. I started out with an eGo and ended up buying the atomizer and tanks for it as I didn't like constantly filling carts. But if you want to try out both I would recommend buying the eGo-T and perhaps a couple of standard atomizer/carts. From what I've seen this would be a cheaper way to try out both since the tank atomizers are a bit more expensive right now.

This way you could try out a liquid in a cart and then if you think you like it do half a tank and see how you feel after that. I don't think you really know if you like a flavor until you've vaped a bit of it unless you absolutely hate it.

if you like flavorless smoke then get the ego-t
I have seen this comment a couple of times, but I have been using nothing but tanks for the past 10 days or so and the flavor of my juice is actually better than it was on my carto's, clearomizers, and almost the same as when I DD on a new atomizer. Since I can't DD and drive- tanks are the way to go for me. Besides- no sticky messes, and I no longer have to drag all the bottles and stuff with me every day. I just set up my batteries with filled tanks in the morning, and am set for the work day.

Hello Istorian. Good decision.

Now, what U need?
......because if I go even two weeks without smoking it will have paid for itself.....
This indicates that you're an "eGo class" smoker (nu pun:)). There's a rant that all advise is: "Get an eGo" (or Inferno/Riva/Tornado - theyre interchangeable, batterywise, and the battery duration's the "key" here).

I've just broken in a Tornado Tank atty+carts this weekend. It works splendidly. To a T-set, you can at the same shipment order a "standard" (510-)atomizer and a (510-)drip tip. Then you have that option, too. And remember to get JUICE in different flavours and strengths. Up to 18-20mg you could go, and down to 8-10mg. But at least 30ml in first shipment. And a syring with a thick needle to fill tanks (buy five extra empty carts - no big deal). Then you can fill for a couple of days worth.

So - the investment may have to be for three weeks of smoking - but then you're flying right off !

You'll say 'Tank You', eventually :) Oh - heard that one before ?

Good luck to you.

LOL! In my case, I agree...maybe it has to do with the particular juice?

I dunno, but when I vape on a tank, I get less flavor + a hint of plastic...um yummy...

I have seen comments about the taste not being great too, but for me it has been really great.

I have vaped a few different types of juice through mine and they all taste great:
80/20 & 50/50 from FSUSA
70/30 from BWB
I even have some 100% pg which tastes fine, but I am finding I don't like the flavor as much as I used to, but nothing to do with tanks.
