Newbie with EVO...lots of questions.

Got my EVO last night.

Dropped 5 drops in the cart and 1 on the Atomizer.

Got good Vapor but it doesnt taste like much. Its like Im sucking smoke through a clean plastic/metal tube and all I am tasting is the tube.

Was I supposed to shake up the juice before dropping?

Also, I heard it takes awhile for the atty to work well, is this why there is no taste?

Im sorry I shouldve made it clear, the e-liquid I am using is ECOpure GOLD - regular tobacco flavor, high strength 20mg/ml.

Ill be honest, I tatse NO tobacco at all.

Am i doing something wrong?

What you are tasting is the primer - a new atty always tastes metallic and plasticky to me until it's worn in - which may take a day or so, depending on how much you use it.

With exposed wick attys, I tend to drip onto the bridge until it will take no more, and then put the cartridge back on - that way, it seems to overwhelm the primer and get the real deal moving that much quicker. With shrouded bridges, I just make sure I've got the cart topped off properly and accept that it won't taste really good until tomorrow...

What you'll find - if you're anything like me - is that the flavour of your chosen juice(s) will increase in potency the longer you're off analogue smokes, as your taste buds recover and your vaping pattern stabilises.

I never really got much flavour at all with the evo. I used them for about 2 1/2 months before my friend sent me a 510 kit. I haven't touched my evo since.

I have both EVO & 510 e-cigs & I have to say the EVO annihilates the 510 for flavour. I'm inclined to agree with hifistud. Try putting more juice on the atty (not too much, you don't want to flood it)

I'm with you on that as well. I like the taste my Dragon puts out a lot more than I care for the 510. That don't mean that I hate the 510, I just prefer my Dragon with the exception of driving then I prefer the 510, for whatever reason be it I'm losing it or it is really true but it feels like my Dragon is not even working when I use it while driving.

Everyone has to find what works for them personally. I have heard others that disagreed with me and others who felt the same way. It's all about personal preference.

I agree completely with both of these posts (although the 510 s might take a back seat when my EM4s finally clear UK customs (manual M401))
