Thanks jamie. I'm really concerned that you couldn't find the seller on ebay that i bought from. I'm not allowed to post links yet, but i went right to it and read the description again, etc. I read all the feedback on them and they seem pretty reputable. I'm getting really pumped about this. Can't wait to get this going. Thanks again for all of the help.

Don't worry about the cord. It just plugs into the charger. Take the charger with you to Radio Shack and they can get you one for US plug. It will probably be less expensive than the convertor.

As far as where to get the other things you'll need the suppliers section here (scroll all the wat down to the bottom on the home page) is really great. it may take a little searching to find someone with what you need in stock because stuff goes fast. I like the Totaly Wicked juice and they have a distributor in Florida so shipping is pretty fast.

It sounds like a USB passthrough is a definite for you if you are at the computer a lot. It will really save your batteries. A USB charger really isn't necessary because the plug in charger is small enough to be portable.

Puffdolly if you are getting a UK 3-pin charger you'll need a UK to US plus adapter. UK uses a 3-pin style for plugging in electronics (all the pins are flat btw - it's not like your outside electrical cord with 2 flat pins and one round), plus unlike the US which uses 120-volts, the UK is 240-volts. So you will need to buy a voltage adapter so you can break down the voltage and plug the thing in.

that lead is what we in the UK call a "kettle lead" (I don't know why - I've never seen a kettle with one,) - it's very standard, and you'll have no problem finding a replacement with a US plug very cheaply.

I'm a little concerned about the seller online4u, since I can only find a US member of that name listed who's been a member for over 10 years, but has zero feedback and zero items for sale - is that the same seller? You should now be able to post a link, since you've made 14 posts already (I think you can post links after 10 posts.)
Ebay's good for some stuff, but I hope you paid by paypal so you can get your money back if it isn't legit. I'd also echo the advice to buy vaping supplies from known reputable suppliers in future, as recommended and reviewed on this site.

Your carts will be prefilled, and should keep you going until you can get some juice to refill them. Hope you get as much of a 'Wow!' on your first vape as I did - if not, do persevere. There can be problems with some units, and atomizers aren't especially reliable, but when it works it's fantastically better than smoking! And even with the cost of keeping up with spare parts etc., it's definitely cheaper than analogs!

Welcome to the future, Puffdolly :)

Puffdolly, you're making it a little too complicated :) and folks are helping you complicate it ;) and that is why I said, just buy another 901 kit and some juice. Then you'll have two 901 kits, very good to start with if you are committed. If the second kit can be a dual atomizer, perfect! Or get one more extra atomizer when you buy the kit if you can.

The USB passthrough battery is a bonus but most of us started without, they are pretty new. So, another kit and some juice, you will be set. Anything else is a bonus and probably less confusing if you wait.

No worries. Got my starter kit today. It was from ecigarette.net from UK. The one selling from them was online4u. Don't understand how Ebay works, but it all worked out fine. Thanks for the concern. Appreciate all of your help. I appreciate everyone pitching in to help this newbie. I just have one question. What do I do with my ecig when I go to bed? Do I just set it down and pick it up again in the morning? Should I dismantle it, etc. I am just so paranoid right now to do anything with it for fear of screwing it up. :)

Hey, I just noticed something. There is a little hole in the atomizer part of my ecig the size of a pinhole. Is that suppose to be there?

It's best to unscrew the battery just because many of them will keep drawing a little power, why waste it. Also avoids the possibility of somehow the atomizer being activated.

Some people set their parts to drain at night. I thought this was covered in the above guide to vaping? if you want to do that too.

The pinhole is an airhole that should be there, yes, in the model you purchased. :) Sometimes I'll cover it for just a second while I'm puffing to get more vapor.

I went over the video again about the cleaning part. I may have missed the part about what to do at bedtime. I get the drift of it though. I have been experimenting with the pin hole and covering it too. Don't think it will hurt it by covering it now and again. Jamie, I just want to sincerely give you a great big hug for all of your help. I have read and read and watched and watched pretty much all I can. Sometimes my brain doesn't retain it all.LOL But I'll get there. I sincerely want to apologize for being a big pain in the ..... I am happy to report that I have NOT had an analog since I started "vaping" just hours ago. I just ate a bagel and usually I want a cigarette right after eating. I picked up my ecig instead. That in itself tells me that I am going to be a great success story. This is soooo totally awesome!!!:)

You're very welcome Puffdolly. :)

I'm not even positive if the draining info is there, but didn't want to spend so much time typing it all out. ;) So many threads, so little time!

Believe me, you'll retain the info a lot better now that you have an ecig. Videos are the next best but still a far cry from holding it in your hand, getting that experience. I'm so glad to hear it's going well for you so far!
