Ok, I ordered my first e-cig the other day, from electroniccigarettemall.com. Of course I ordered it before I found this nice place chock full of info. I don't expect the first one I get whenever it does get here to last very long. I've been spending a lot of time reading up on things here and decided to sign up as a member to get some answers to my questions.

1. I've read a lot of good things about the vapor king from vapor4life
my question is: has anyone had any problems with that particular model?

2. As far as the juice goes, I read on here last night that some of the flavorings do or may contain hazardous stuff in them,

my question is: has anyone just smoked non flavored juice? if so was it ok or was it nasty?
can you get non flavored juice in different strengths? and where, my searching hasn't brought me any results

I'm really wanting to get away from the analog cigs, so I need all the help I can get
and get the best bang for the buck as well.

I wouldn't worry too much about flavorings I think most of this stuff uses the same type of stuff they use to flavor some foods. I could be wrong though.

I've never tried unflavored, I think most of the time its for mixing, but if you want some good flavors check out besteciggy.com if you want something close to smoke flavor the tenesee cure is really good and also the kamel. nhaler.com has really good flavors too I really love the RY4 (nutty carmel flavor) and the grape tastes like a jolly rancher.

Hi chrgrmke and welcome to ECF! I've used unflavored e-liquid and it's just fine...just a touch of sweetness and various nic strengths. Seems like most suppliers carry unflavored for mixing. IMO you don't have anything to worry about flavorings tho...I mean we burned tobacco and inhaled 3000+ chemicals...so the 5 or so in e-liquid don't bother me.

Welcome, chrgmke. Dis is de place!! Sorry, I can't help with your VK question, but I'm sure many will see your post and jump in to help. As far as hazardous stuff in the liquids..yeh, because it contains nicotine, the same stuff you've been inhailing in your smokes. Don't use it for eye wash and don't drink it and you'll be fine. :) Also, some here do use the unflavored and no, it's not nasty. Actually, like no flavored sweetness. And, yes, it come in a variety of strengths, also. I would recomend that to start off you order some flavored liquid to top off your carts or use the drip/dip method. Much more satisfying. :thumb: Welcome, again.

Thank you for the quick responses, wow. I guess i shoulda been a little clearer. I'm not terribly worried about the flavoring, I just never cared for even the flavored analogs so I was wondering about the un flavored stuff.
I've checked out a lot of the sights that sell the juice but hardly saw any un flavored, or they only had high strength stuff. I'll probably as a start just try some chocolate and coffee from vapor 4 life first. does any one have any better suggestions?

Sounds like a good start. After switching to vaping I found out that the experience was more like an adventure. Cigarettes and coffee were the main staples in my survival pack, but now I can vape flavors that compliment my coffee, just like a treat/coffee combo. As far as unfavored is concerned, at this point in the ecig evolution, you'll probably only find the higher mg, as they're primarilly intended for mixing and boosting. One option, if you want to "clean vape", is to order some pg or vg to dilute with. For instance, order some 48mg nic, mix in the same amount of vg and you end up with 24mg unflavored. (Just take 2ml 48mg nic, add 2ml vg and you have 4ml of 24mg liquid...you get the idea) :)

Yes I think I got the idea, I'll have to make a note to myself so I can shop around.
Another question, Is there some reason I have to keep signing on or is there a setting I can change?

Thanks again for the quick responses.
