Hi, everyone, very new to this, been vaping for 11 days, currently using a Riva but thanks to all the posts here and youtube reviews i'm thinking of upgrading to a Super6...any thoughts or advice is welcome!

Welcome to ECF! And congratulations on 11 days.... I don't know about the Super6; I'll let someone else address that. I use (and LOVE) an eGo which is basically the same as the Riva, and am totally happy with it so I'm not looking for an upgrade for the time being.

looks like a 6 volt, so it will require new sets of batteries, charger, all that. Being a mod, you will go through more atties as well. Your stepping up from standard 3.7 volt to 5 or 6, and those are a whole new venture, so just be prepared. If your using the 510 atties, then I'll recommend you learn the biggest trick to mods -

thanks JC, i guess the Riva isnt a bad starting point, although i was a very heavy smoker and i'm now a constant vaper so i think i need a bigger or longer lasting battery

You are hard pressed to beat the 900 mah of mega riva's/ egos. But some mods offer higher battery life, just not many. I doubt the super6 would be one of them, as it looks to run on 2 tenergy 3 volt batteries. That setup will last pretty close to the riva as far as vape time between charges.

I don't know much about the 6 volt mod you're considering or it's battery life, but I do know that you can now order 1000mah batteries that will fit your Riva....really kick up the battery life.

Im using my screwdriver, mega 510, and ego right now with standard atties, LR 510, LR 901, Joye carto's, and standard cartos, all with either Johnsonscreek french vanilla or backwoods brew honey flu nut....Im indecisive..daily

as for me GGTS+AVS Clear tank as soon as vaporkings get them in its mine lol
