I am going to purchase my first kit tomorrow and from reading several of the forums here it looks like the Joye 510. I found it on Midwest Vapor for 50$ and that seems to be a fair and going price. Is there anything additional I should look into or need to purchase? It comes with:
2- batteries
2- ATOMIZERS
1- BATTERY CHARGER
5- CARTRIDGES

Any advice on juice or passthroughs, I didn't see those listed with the kit.

This seems like a fantastic site and I've already learned alot of information just from browsing.

I just ordered mine a week ago (Joye 510). Same exact order except i ordered a couple bottles of e juice. I would recommend ordering e juice because those 5 carts will not last very long. I also ordered a couple extra attys and 1 mega batt (the normal batteries will not last a whole night at the bar. Especially when everyone wants to try it.) as well as more juice and a USB PT(only ordered the pass through for the event that my charger stops working). I would recommend making the same second order just to make sure you won't be stuck having to go back to analogs. BTW, welcome to ECF.

I'd either get some of the new 510 cartomizers or a 510-808 adapter so you can use Vapor King cartomizers. If you're like me it wont be long before you get sick and tired of having to top off a cartridge every 10 or 12 drags. I'd also get a passthrough to use for when the 510 batteries that last 15 minutes are charging.

Do look again, and check out if you'd not rather go for an eGo. Same atty, but much, much longer battery life, so you don't need PTs and PCCs and all that.
And yes, you'll need juice, too. I'd try at least two flavours, in case you don't like one, and one in a very high and a very low strenght, so you can mix them and find out which stenght you are comfortable with. (Although that will probably sink later on.)

Do look again but look at the Vapor King from vapor4life. I have both it and the Joye 510. I have about every option you can get for the 510, including mega batteries, mega atomizers and carts, USB passthrough with battery, USB passthrough without battery, and even eGo batteries. It doesn't matter how big a battery you put on it, you still have to screw around topping off the cartridge every 10 or 12 drags.

Juice! Get some juice. You don't want to run out of juice when you're starting out and that's the least expensive part of this whole thing.

I second what several say about juice. Maybe four or five 5 ml bottles of different flavors and/or strengths to start to get a feel for what you like. What I did, and recommend, is to order not one but two of the 510 packages. That's a pretty good start on spares at a reasonable price.
