I agree. Smok isn't the best for quality. Return it and get something better. Innokin is a good brand. There are a lot of others too.

Where are you located?
Did you buy the device from a local vendor?
Did the unit work properly and then stop or has it failed on first use? (after proper set up and charging)

I use smok products, and have had no issues (though not the Nord 4)
Return, and get another one.
I have smoked since I was about 16 now 59, until 2015 I smoked about 15 a day then around 10 a day on and off since then. Am not new to vaping but need to find a gd one as I vape quite heavily. My daughter purchased the smok vape from an online

I would return the unit or at least buy another (different) device to have as a back up.
Perhaps duck into your LVS for help with the SMOK and a looky-loo at other options to keep you away from the roll ups/ cigarettes.

This is right on. While waiting for my order (online vape shop, but not normal shipping because of US laws), bought a novo 2 while waiting (I ordered a smok 50 W). Because the replacement pods were expensive, I purchased a Nord 50w locally (more expensive). I then bought replacement pods and coils for LP2. i learned how to clean the coils. .23 ohms continually leak (due to vapor). .6 ohms were recommended by an online review.
An interesting note, cleaning the coils (and the pods, rinse out, use Qtips and Paper towels to dry, then let sit for several days, both Nord pods and LP2 pods) produced no degradation in quality. In fact, one new coil for LP2 (,6ohm) produced leaking problems, where as a cleaned coil produced no problems.
Regardless of the product you use (as long as it is replaceable pod device, replaceable coils), do google search on how to clean Nord Coils and Pods. The cleaning works the same for LP2 coils and Nord coils.
My preferred smoks anything runs original rpm coils i have rpm80pro & thallo(rpm pod extra with this, rpm 2 standard coil & pod) multiple coil option for prime reason i like rba option(which i admit can be a .... to build on)

He's a newbie, (sis ordered online). I am not into rebuildables yet (that is for later) My opinion, lets get something simple, then learn to make juice, THEN use the money saved to buy hardware.
So I took the smok nord 4 into a vape shop today and he could see any reason as to why the digital display isn't working so it's nothing I have/not done just faulty so I will return for a refund. Out of interest, he said he's not seen a smok device with UK CA (as in pic) can anyone shed light on this? Tia

It seems that this uk ca markings is an indication of aproval of this vape device as a medical device by the united kingdom and it seems that they gonna start (if they haven't already) let doctors prescribe those vape devices as a method of quiting smoking to patients in the uk.
