Hello, nice to have you here. Please take your shoes off and stay awhile. Can I get you anything? Tea, coffee, a cold beer, something stronger? Two months is a good start. Just beware the vape industry moves very fast. I got content with my setup and didn’t pay attention for a little bit. When I came back to the forum to check things out, I didn’t recognize any of the equipment and was sorely in need of an update of my gear. So if I can offer one piece of advice it’s this. Pay attention because if you get content, the vape world will pass you by. Enjoy yourself here, it’s loaded with good people and anything you’d ever want to know about vaping. There is no better place to learn about it so if you have any questions or need anything don’t be afraid to ask. Peace be with you.
Hi guys thanks so much for the warm welcome ! I’m currently learning new things every day and researching more about Mechanical mods, as I’m considering to switch over to a squonker or just a normal mech mod . But I still a little confused maybe some one here can answer them for me ?
1. How much power does a mech mod pack? For instance does it effect the throat hit ?
2. Confused about 18650s different mAhs
As what is the most recommend mAh ? Does the mAh effect what coil builds I’m gonna put on my RDA ?
3. Ohms, how can I tell how much ohms I need that is the perfect mark for my Vape mods ? As most of the times my I chuck vapes fine just that, every first press I take the juice shoots into my mouth, maybe I’m wrong might not be the ohms but it’s a grey area for me.

I can’t help you much with your questions but I do have a suggestion. I would stay away from a mech mod for now. Don’t use one until your questions are answered and you are confident enough to explain the answers to your questions to other vapers.
Mechs can be great, but there is a lot to learn first. Basically, you are vaping off a battery (no protections) so understanding how to build, and how to calculate safe battery usage for your builds are very, very important.
There will be tons of folks ready and willing to help if you do decide to go that route, but generally, they are considered fairly "high" up the vaping ladder in terms of skill. By following a lot of the mech threads, I understand ohm's law, and I know how to build. I still don't feel ready to vape a mech, although I will someday. My biggest issue is going to be consistency in use, and I doubt I'd ever take one out of the house.... One mistake can be costly.
