bloog maxx fusion is an auto batt and you need zero primer puffs. its an amazing device, delivering vapor right away...no primer puffs needed, i promise you that. my riva however....not near as good (yes, with the same juice).

Still toast if you get juice into it though....

I haven't heard of any big breakthrough in battery tech, so I don't know how they could have greatly improved the design -- a standard auto is about as perfect as current technology allows.

The "new" autos have an improved switch, so no more primer puff. They are also regulated at 3.6, instead of starting at 4.2 and dropping to 3.7.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I've never understood about the 'primer puff' everyone talks about -- I've always just pulled on them like I do a regular cig and always got a wonderful cloud of vapor.

I never understood either, till I tried the improved autos, lol. I thought that was just how they work. They got me off analogs, and I had no idea there was a better auto out there when I started.

My auto doesnt require primer puffs, doesnt get damaged from dripping either. If it does leak (which has sofar been impossible, started to drown & gurgle after 8 drops when i tested and i stopped dripping. i only know where the liquid comes out from blowing it out) the liquid comes out a little hole in the side, not the big one on the bottom, which is pressed against the hole in the batt, making it impossible for liquid to get into the batt. And this is my cheapy $30 NicStick from my local gas station, though they do have a site(where the same kit i got for $30 is $50, HA) so i figure its decent as any other regular 510.

So i don't understand the problems with auto batts. Mine works great and i never knew about the priming or dripping thing til after i'd been using it and dripping for a week with no probs.

Automatic batteries aren't sealed. They have a hole in the battery connection and if juice gets in there it'll ruin the battery.

I know that, i'm just saying mine doesn't. The hole seals against the hole at the bottom of the atomizer, and the juice wont come out of it. It comes out the little hole on the side, not that it does unless i blow it out. And this is my cheapy $30 gas station 510
