Newer to vaping

I've been vaping for probably a year but just recently got into building coils. I bought a Kepler stingray x in copper and carbon fiber with a mephisto v2 Atty. Just curious on what type of coils would be best for this Atty. Right now I'm using Samsung 2500 man with a dual coil .6 ohm total build.

Welcome to the forum krichey92! I don't own a mephisto, but my magma gets tension-wound micro coils. They're simple and they work.

Right now my coils are macro coils 26 g 8 wraps. Using cotton wick. Seems like I burn through juice like crazy even with the deeper well. Wondering if maybe too much cotton in the well will cause this.

Welcome! Just about anything you build on (rda or rta) will go through juice like crazy unless you build with high ohms

Thanks for the info. I love the vapor and the flavor I get with the lower ohms but I'm running at a safer ohm. I didn't want to get too crazy going below .4 or .5 ohm just because of it being an unregulated mod. I don't like to take risks when it comes to mine and others safety.

Low resistance builds in general will require more juice than high resistance builds because they vaporize the liquid faster. I don't think the amount of wick material really affects the amount of juice that will be consumed, except that too little wick will starve the coil and create burnt hits.

+1 on that. You've done you homework, bought a great battery, built with its CDR and allowed lots of headroom.
