so ive been vaping now for about 3 weeks, i have an ego c twist battery and a cheap CE4 tank that came with it. ive been doing a lot of research lately and ive decided im going to invest in a vivi nova glassomizer. the store near my house sold aspire stuff and i almost got an et-s when i got my setup but didnt have enough money. my biggest question is: since they use the same heads, are they the same thing essentially? im also curious about the fact that the vivi nova has the removable plastic drip-tip which ill prefer to the et-s having the stainless tip. but then the et-s has the cone threading and the vivi nova has the 510 which i know works with the ego battery as well, wont it be easier to like snap the tank off the battery since its connected inside the enclosure rather than around the battery?

thx in advance ppl

The CE4 and Viva Nova are almost the same thing, but the Vivi nova is a little better quality. I had both as my first tanks. Consider trying a BCC (bottom coil changable) clearomizer. My first bottom coil clearo was a Kanger EVOD and I was astounded with its performance compared to the top coils. Since the wicks are at the bottom, they are are always soaked in juice and rarely give a dry/burnt hit unless the voltage is too high. The atties are easy to rebuild and very inexpensive to replace if you don't feel like tinkering. 2.2 ohm atties taste best at 4.2 volts, and 1.8's at 3.8-9 in my experience. Protank 2 and 2 mini is also a good quality tank if you want to spend a few more bucks.

i understand about the ce4 vs a BDC, my ce4 was a cheap plastic one. im looking at buying an aspire vivi nova-s and think ive settled on it with a thread cover to stop the issue of it being weak at the connection. i think im all set. as far as i can tell, all of the aspire bdc products (their ce4, et-s, vivi nova-s) they are all basically the same and function pretty much the same yeah? next step up in their line is the davide then the naut. which both are better then the afformentioned three respectivly right? now im just trying to figure out which website to order my .... from as i dont wanna order from a ....ty dealer

The Davide is comparable to the Protank 2 mini and Innokin iClear, all great products. If you prefer the top coils to bottom then Viva Nova is pretty good. There are other good top coils that cost more but I've never tried them because I strongly prefer the flavor of bottom coil tanks. Myvaporstore is reliable, discountvapers has great prices. Ebay has great deals sometimes. I'm sure there are other great sites that I don't know of, but I used this one really cool third-party site that basically had a index of nearly all the most popular sites worldwide and shows you tons of products and compares prices. Maybe someone will know what it is :/

Hi Maelficus and welcome! Yeah, your battery is great, your topper is kind of old technology. When you're done with it, just toss it and get a better one.

ive been doing a lot of research lately and ive decided im going to invest in a vivi nova glassomizer.

I don't really like ViVi Novas because they are top coils--just like your CE4. Personal preference. The only top coil clearo I like is Kanger T2; for some reason, it works fine--against gravity.

the store near my house sold aspire stuff and i almost got an et-s when i got my setup but didnt have enough money.

I like my ET-S. A lot.

my biggest question is: since they use the same heads, are they the same thing essentially?

Nope--ViVi Novas are 510 threaded and top coil.

im also curious about the fact that the vivi nova has the removable plastic drip-tip which ill prefer to the et-s having the stainless tip.

If you don't like ss tips, I suggest you consider Kanger BCC clearomizers--T3S, eVod, and glass mini ProTank are all eGo threaded and single bottom coil design.

but then the et-s has the cone threading and the vivi nova has the 510 which i know works with the ego battery as well, wont it be easier to like snap the tank off the battery since its connected inside the enclosure rather than around the battery?

I prefer to use eGo-threaded toppers on my eGo-class batteries--the fit is nice and snug and flush with the battery. Having said that, you can get an eGo "beauty ring" to cover the threads and to stabilize the tank. Most Kanger 510 tanks come with a beauty ring.

Also, please be aware that the Aspire toppers are dual coils, which means that they will drain your battery faster than single coil atties. They also require higher voltages to perform well.

Good luck.

ive done a ton of looking around online, im pretty sure im gonna purchase from vivid smoke, just wanna make sure they are legit. dont wanna get a defective tank or have it not come or anything like that. i almost ordered from viper vape but i made sure to check the preferred sellers list on here and the negative reviews and am pretty sure and pretty glad i didnt order from viper vape. im not finding any bad info on vivid smoke so i think im gonna go for it.

i just wish the shop by my house carried the aspire vivi nova-s BDC glassomizer and not just the ET-S, but they do that because it screws straight to the e-go batteries they carry im assuming. and my girl bought one the et-s tanks, its awesome and i would love it if not for the stainless steel non-removable tip. i cant stand the stainless against my teeth.

We have two of the Aspire BDC,s got them at a B & M store i gotta say they are great. On my tesla or my wifes ego c they preform great. The only thing is i replaced the plastic tips with stainless ones. We both like cinnamon and it tends to soften the plastic. I also have a 5ml Hyper-Tank that uses the same coil as my wifes kanger MT3, it's only a couple of weeks old, but seems to work well.

My ET-S has been flawless 3 weeks in. I can't find a single thing to complain about and I'm ordering more. A big plus is that they're glass, so I don't have to worry about juices wrecking it. I'm getting a couple more and another ego vv battery and putting everything else on the shelf. I love the combination of the two.
