I'd say if you're in Malacca, vape discreetly. While the number of vapers is growing, it's still something really new and most people won't know how to distinguish cigarette smoking from vaping.

Having said that, knowing the deplorable level of enforcement in Malaysia, there will still be people smoking. I really hope I'm proven wrong :)

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the government was concerned over the wide distribution of counterfeit cigarette that could lead to health complications & Liow said fake cigarretes contained high levels of tar and nicotine
...all dunces our ministers..majority smoke because it is so much cheaper than the branded ones..and government losses on taxes..in tax-free Langkawi,cigarettes as low as RM13$(us$4.40) for 200..they should than promote the use of e-cig if they concern about our health
