Rose McCaffrey's is a nice little "Irish" pub, but it is pretty small (it's right across the street from my work so I've been to a couple of happy hours there). Couldn't say about the upstairs area...possibly larger. What about the Half Moon bar & Grill on 20th St. and Highland? That's a pretty big place and good old fashioned 'Merican bar food.

My dentist is right next to that, pass by it often but have never stopped in. Great suggestion!

Well, if you guys can scout these places and let me know if they'll be able to accommodate 60-80 people (and know about vaping)... then I can swing out there (okay, more like pack a lunch and take a trip) to talk to management and see what the deal is! Thanks!

I haven't heard back from management at Bluewater yet... *sigh*

I'll see if we can check it out sometime this weekend or next - we'll be out of town during the week itself. Half Moon is right across the street from where Ed Debevic's used to be - pity that place is gone, it woulda been perfect for us. Fun place, sassy help, good food, and a huge banquet hall off to the side we could have commandeered.
