Next mod i should get.

Hey everyone. I'm looking for advice on getting a 20w or 30w mod in the $100-120 or so range. I'm looking at maybe a dna 30 clone, but would rather not have a box mod. Ive looked at the Seven 22, sigelei 20 or 30w, things like that. right now I have an MVP 2 and a Vamo v5. Thanks

Welcome to ECF Mike... I get it - box mods don't exactly blow my skirt up either.

Genuine DNA30 tube mods, like the ZNA (tube'ish), Mark Bugs Wizard, Fluid Cyborg and Nexgen Futura are all out of your price point, so... something like the Tobeco, ZGripper (ZNA clone) Cloupor T50 or KSD mods, along with the ones you've already looked at, are about it for tubes... for now.

(note that all the links are for VaporTek. He seems to have a real woodie for tube APVs)

Of course, something new seems to come out every week, so either commit to something... or wait until the next big thing. ;-)

I vote for this too.

I like tube mods but, in my opinion, none of them are really floating my boat. I'd say rock the IPV box or wait a few months to see what becomes available.

So, I'm thinking now, do I really need 30w? or should I buy some nicer rda/rba's? i can get 15w on my Vamo, but i've just started doing the rebuildable stuff. Will the extra watts make a big difference on flavor and all? ive got a kayfun lite v2 and a smoketech rsbt hybrid, with some drippers otw. and i'm probably going to go to that stuff exclusively.
