Hey All,
Would not have made the switch to vaping from the dirty analogs without y'all so wanted to gauge your opinion on my next PV purchase. Started vaping about a month ago, analog free for a week now, and have amassed a huge variety in juices and carts, clearomizers, drip tips etc for my Joye 510. My wife has been impressed with my ability to transition and wants to give this a try now too, prompting me to 'upgrade' and pass on my trusty 510 to her.

I am torn between the Riva and the EGO, from what I read there is not a lot of difference between the devices, but I am always looking out for the next step, cost permitting, and the tank system does interest me and I wondered if the EGO-T atty and tank can be used with the Riva too? I like the TH from the 510 atty and the new clearomizers I just received are certainly more convenient than dripping but maybe lack a little TH, though not seriously. Had an opportunity to try a high voltage system at Madvapes and although the flavor was awesome, the TH was non-existent so would prefer to stick to the 510.

Wow, that turned out to be way longer than I planned :)

Bottom line, I'd hate to get the Riva and a couple of weeks later think, 'Oh, I'd like that tank system', and not be able to just add the necessary parts. Always wondering if the grass is greener :)

Thanks.

I have the regular Joye ego. Riva/Ego pretty much the same thing except the Joye Ego cost $10 more. I wanted to try the tank and purchased the atty and tanks for about $20. I 'think' that the tank can be used on either the Riva or Joye.

You could get the Riva for $29.99 + 20.00 (5 tanks & 1 atty) =49.99

or-

For $63 you can get the Joye ego-T with 2 atty and 7 tanks

I guess it's a better deal to get the ego-T because you get two attys.

If your getting this at LF, double check but I think you get a longer warranty on the Joye batteries than the Riva batteries.

eGo, Riva has a 510 threading so parts for them can be interchangable. If you do get a LR atty or carto just make sure you dun use it on your standard 510 batteries (Joye 510). I heard ppl said they will decrease the lifespan of the standard 510 batteries if you use LR on them.

The new eGo-T batteries has a 5 click on and off switch though, so that another difference

These are the virtually the same thing and all parts are interchangeable. The Riva has the gold around the botton(unless you get the limited edition) and the Ego has silver around the button. The Riva kit can be purchased at Liberity Flights for only 29.95 plus shipping and you can also purchase the tank there which can be used on the Riva. The Riva can be purchased at other places as well but Liberty Flights was the cheapest I could find. I love my Riva with a LR 306 or LR 510 atty. By the way my kit came with 2 attys, 2 batts, charger, one cone, and 10 blank cartos.

Pretty much the same Batts Ego adv @ 650 mAh Riva adv @ 750 mAh don't know if the Riva is really 750 though, the Riva has a nice button in my opinion but both are pretty much the same, LF does have a good deal on them use there Disc coupon if they have one going and it's a good deal. Now with that being said, I would step up and Grab the 900 mAH Ego or even better the 1100mAh Riva, more power, longer charge and better running the LR Atty's.
