VIP 2012 SCHEDULE:
July-Dec schedule coming soon!

When: SUNDAY, June 24th at 1pm
Where: Sun Up Brewing in the Brewers' Den (Just ask the hostess for the vaping Group when you arrive if you don't know where it is).
Location: 322 East Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012
Light Rail Stop: Camelback & Central
Parking: Lots of parking in Sun Up's parking lot.

Great food at Sun Up, please consider having lunch and a drink (or two) there so we can continue to have our meets there for free! The kettle chips and chipotle ketchup are out of this world! More info about Sun Up is available on their Website!

Local suppliers are often in attendance so you can buy liquids, atomizers/cartos, drip tips, mods, etc. If you have something to sell or trade, bring it along!

Carto Tank Workshop - VIP member Ceegary will be holding a workshop during this month's meet on how to make carto tanks from syringes! If you'd like to participate, swing by your closest CVS pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for 10ml syringes - you'll need 2 for each tank you want to make, and it couldn't hurt to have some spares. Ceegary notes that it's important to get the ones from CVS, as they're the best suited for this purpose. You can tell you have the right ones if there's 3 concentric circles on the rubber part of the plunger. Ceegary will provide all other supplies needed to complete your tanks, and offer some other tips on how to clean and punch cartos!

Raffle News - We will have our usual raffle drawings (please consider bringing something to donate for our drawings, vaping-related or not!) and as always, we'll have our 50/50 cash pot drawings from the money brought in from raffle ticket sales. In the raffle this month we will have a complete SparkPlug mod kit (including batteries and a USB charger!) and some other goodies. Our local suppliers often donate something great as well.

Spread The Word - If you know vapers that aren't part of the ECF, invite 'em! Know any smokers looking for alternatives? Bring 'em along! The more the merrier!

Have any questions? Shoot me a PM here or hit Sunny up on the VIP Face Book page (Phoenix Vapers) at https://www.facebook.com/groups/phoenix.vapors/. Feel free to RSVP in this thread or on Facebook, and we hope to see you all there!

Ok, we have secured the Brewer's Den at SunUp for another 6 months! Here's our upcoming schedule, starting in July:

Sunday, July 29, 1pm
Sunday, August 19, 1pm
Sunday, September 23, 1pm
Sunday, October 28, 1pm
Saturday, November 17, 1pm
Sunday, December 16, 1pm

BTW, the manager I spoke to while setting up the next block of dates is named January, and she wants to quit smoking with e-cigs so we'll most likely see her at the June 24 meet!

OK gang, I will try to make it to this meet up.

Last meet up I was in some serious pain and could only drive to the parking lot.

I'm almost in the same condition and hope my joint problems subside before Sundays meet up.

Either way I have some goodies to donate as well.

If I'm not up to par I will make sure someone gets the goodies to the meet up regardless of a cameo from me.

The June meet has come and gone, and a good time was had by all. We had planned a carto tank workshop with VIP member Ceegary this month, but due to unforseen circumstances he couldn't make the meet - I suspect he was kidnapped by Big Tobacco and their FDA goons - but we'll get it set up for another time. Even without that, many eats and drinks were eaten and drank, and lively conversation was... conversed!

As always, Frank presided over the room while the vapor flowed

Earl and Rita brought their new Innokin iTastes, they have cool magnetic adapters to fit all manner of connections

Dave Richie brought his giant honkin' Monkeyboxx VV2

Rita and Earl bestowed upon me this great little eGo mod, the Janty Kuwako - it makes your 650mah eGo battery look like a pipe! You can't help but say things like 'Hm. Quite.' and 'I say, old chap' while vaping with it!

Sunny and I brought our REOs, including the new VV Woodvil and the new metal 18650

Mods and mod discussions abound

Dave from Desert Vapes was in the house, setting up shop with great deals for all

RAFFLE TIME! Jerry from Aroma Ejuice not only donated some of his famous WTA juice to the raffle and brought samples for everyone to try, he also picked our winners this month! Thanks Jerry! Thanks also to Barry, who donated a mountain of attys and cartos to the raffle!

The 50/50 raffle brought in $155, so Liz and Dave Ritchie won $80 and $75 respectively!

Some crazy old guy won the WTA juice from Aroma

Jonas began his reign of terror by snagging the disposable kit donated by Jerry from Aroma

Barry won a couple of boxes of prefilled cartos donated by Desert Vapes Dave

DSC00026.JPG

Earl won a 6-bottle sampler from Awesome Clouds which includes their new chocolate-dipped strawberries flavor

Sunny landed herself a 510 starter kit from My PV Shop

DSC00028.JPG

Jonas continues to reel 'em in with a couple of boxes of LR dual coils

Dave Ritchie scores again with some 510 attys

DSC00030.JPG

Vicky won a couple boxes of XL attys while Chad from E-Cig Supply and Zikwid Lounge vapes on

Jonas rounds out his haul with a sack of assorted juices from the Juice Fairy

DSC00034.JPG

Desert Vapes Dave won - much to Dave Ritchie's dismay - the day's big prize, a full SparkPlug kit complete with batteries, a charger, atty and drip tip!

Congrats to all of the day's winners, and thank you so much to everyone who donated prizes to the raffle! We also broached the subject of what we should do for this year's anniversary party, and we'll discuss it some more and make some decisions at the next meet. Current suggestions on the table are the Uptown Alley (a large multi-entertainment facility), tubing down the Salt River, and taking over a Fork and Screen theater for a flick and some upscale chow and drinks. If you have any suggestions as to what we could do, post it up here!

Hope to see everyone next month! Vape on, VIP!
