Next wave of SS GGTS

Hi all! I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask but if any group has the knowledge I seek, it will be here!

Like a lot of folks, I would LOVE to get my hands on an SS GGTS but can't afford the average price one is going for. I do see on CoV site they are expecting more at some point in the near future (about 2 months?) so I am hoping that means they will take pre-orders at some point.

Based on previous GG releases, does anyone have an estimate on when to start haunting the CoV site to get a pre-order in? I know it may be different for each release but based on past experience, what is the best suggested path the get in on the next wave?

Thanks again for any feedback. I am like many on the forums and on a retired budget but if I play my cards right, I should be able to snag one on the next release!

Usually COV gives a specific time they will be put on pre-order. If you don't catch the time before they do, there will probably be a couple threads about it and you'll find out sooner or later. If you buy from COV don't forget to use the 'bigbuyer' coupon code because it does help with the cost. Just keep reading up on release dates, when it gets closer to the time they should have them I would PM bruce from COV on here and ask when he thinks pre-order will happen.

Sweet! Thanks for the tip! I'm figuring patience will save me anywhere from 50-150 USD. I mean if one showed up anywhere in the 250-270 range, right now it'd be a "can't wait" but it would take a lot of luck to be the one that saw it posted first.

Just go to the COV site and hit the notify me button. As soon as they go up for sale you will get an e-mail. Also Bruce advises the day they will go up for sale before hand. Just not the time.

Yeah I had already hit the "notify me" button but wasn't sure if that notify meant notification of pre-orders being accepted. Thanks a ton dspin!

I don't even know that Bruce will do a prreorder this time. I believe Imeo is making a large batch and usually Bruce does the preorder because of the limited number of stock he was getting. Not positive on this though

That would be outstanding if he is getting enough to not require pre-order. But cool if he does need to do pre-orders this go as I will be stalking the site until they are able to be bought one way or the other!

Yeah I saw that. Based on my income and liking to eat something besides hay or Purina cat chow once or twice a day, I'll have to pass on that one.

I have a possible one from out of country I am checking on but if that doesn't work out, I can use my GO-GO's until the next wave hits. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though.
